Posted June 17, 201510 yr comment_5677789 The Haiti Kid vs. Little Boy Blue (11/14/81)Standard fun little midgets match but Little Boy Blue has some great hair.Greg "The Hammer" Valentine vs. Tony Garea (11/14/81)Valentine really works over Garea on the mat early before Garea makes a comeback working over Valentine's left leg. This turns into a pretty good back and forth match with the fans getting hot for Garea before the finish which was Valentine using an elbow smash to the back of Garea's head to pin him. Garea got his foot on bottom rope but the referee didn't see it. Garea & Dick Woehrle came to ringside to watch the camera afterwards with Dick admitting he messed up.WWF Tag Titles: Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito © vs. Tony Atlas & SD Jones (11/14/81)There are some fun moments in this match but this went way too long for me clocking in over 22 minutes. Atlas got bloodied up real good which made for some fine drama as he had to go to the back before coming back bandaged up and throwing referee Mario Savoldi around for a DQ. I will say this the match was better than I thought it would be going in as everyone worked hard and the heels were bloodthirsty which was good as well as SD who came back in biting the heels for doing the same to Atlas.Pedro Morales vs. The Executioner (Baron Mikel Scicluna) (11/14/81)This wasn't very good of course.WWF Heavyweight Title: Bob Backlund © vs. Magnificent Muraco (11/14/81)This is a rematch from their 60:00 the previous month and it has a 90:00 time limit. Backlund works over Muraco's left arm early and it was quite tedious which was then followed up by Muraco working over Backlund's left arm for a while. The match would finally pick up with Backlund trying to put Muraco away with suplexes before botching a piledriver where Muraco landed face first. Muraco would fight back working over Backlund's back getting Bob in a Canadian Backbreaker but Bob would use his feet to spring off the ropes falling back and pinning Muraco with the move. This went 21 minutes and the last 5 minutes was the best part but the majority of this match was very dull. Muraco had his foot on the bottom rope as well making it 2 times this same finish was used on the show. Muraco saw the finish on the camera and was pissed off.Next we get Kal Rudman interviewing Killer Khan which was quite the segment as Khan of course only speaks Japanese. Then we get Dick Graham interviewing Greg Valentine about his future plans as well as getting screwed out of winning the WWF Title from Backlund at MSG.Stretcher Match: Andre the Giant vs. Killer Khan (11/14/81)This was on the original WWF set and was mainly there to recognize this great feud. Yeah this is a slugfest as both men just take it to each other and it was fun watching Andre try and piledrive Khan who comes back trying to work over Andre's left leg which was Khan injured months ago. They tried to get Andre on the stretcher but he would get up and used it as a weapon. The constant use of the stretcher though became a tired troupe and really hurt the flow of the match as when the stretcher wasn't in use there was some fun brawling. Khan would finally take a stretcher ride after taking a lot of abuse from Andre. I want a match from this feud to be on the set so if this is the one it needs to be on the set.
