If you want to talk about my personal favorites in wrestling.....Budro is near the top of my list...an amazing performer who could do it all. If he didn't have personal problems throughout the years he would've been one of the all-time legends in the business.....Of all the great promos that Budro ever cut this is the one that stands on top of the mountain.

RIP Budro......I hope you are bumping and selling for Big Dust in the sky right now

This is a real shock. Buddy looked good at the Jim Cornette roast which was the last thing I saw him in.

Buddy was an amazing talent, he was gold any time you put a mic in his hand whether it was when he was at his best in the Mid-South, JCP, Memphis 80s days or even into the "Buddy as a wanderer" days of USA Championship, 5 Star Wrestling & Global.

Among many talents, I always thought Buddy was a preeminent squash wrestler. Pure dissection work crossed with world-class trash talking and preening.

This is true too. He was just SO FAR ahead of everyone else in his way way too short run in GWF. His promos and squash matches were the highlight of every early Global show he was on. Just him messing around with the referee or talking trash, he barely had to do anything in his matches in GWF and he would just come off as way more of a star than the rest of the roster.
