Craney's punches here were terrible."Golden Boy" Adrian Adonis vs. S.D. Jones (2/20/82)Adonis looks good here and gets a good win over a credible opponent. Amazing how Adonis made SD look like a whirlbeater here and this was one of the better SD matches of this era. Adonis cuts a promo afterwards wanting better competition.2 out of 3 falls: Mr. Fuji, Mr. Saito, & Captain Lou Albano vs. "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas, Tony Garea, & Rick Martel (2/20/82)This match had a lot of heat and Dick Graham & Kal Rudman were heavily into this as they loved Garea and hated Albano. The faces were very fiery and the crowd was eating it up both when they were on offense or selling. Martel came in like a house of fire getting the first fall win over Saito with a cross body block. Garea kept up the offense as the 2nd fall started before Saito caught him with a shot but he would eventually get a tag to Martel who started back firing on Saito. Martel though would try a reverse cross body block this time and got caught by a shot in the throat by Saito to even the falls. Atlas started the 3rd fall pissed off and started pounding on Albano but Martel was the legal man and kept eating punishment from the heels before tagging in Garea who got an abdominal stretch on Fuji but took a shot from Saito from the top rope to end the match. This was a pretty fun match but it wasn't that good....decent at best.WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Title: Pedro Morales © vs. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (2/20/82)Lots of hemming and hawwing early from Valentine but he would go on the offense and worked Pedro's back over pretty good. Valentine then would focus his attention on Pedro's left leg getting ready for the figure-four and this has become pretty much a Valentine squash match. Valentine would go for the figure-four but Pedro fired up and finally started going on offense going wild on Valentine. Pedro was so amped up trying to beat the shit out of Valentine that he threw Dick Woerhle out of the ring prompting a DQ finish. Shitty finish to what was becoming a fun match.WWF Heavyweight Title: Bob Backlund © vs. Jesse "The Body" Ventura (2/20/82)Ventura was one of the worst opponents Backlund ever faced and he faced quite a few over the years. There was a whole lot of nothing going on for the early part of this match and the match in general was pedantic. The fans were into Backlund though and this was a fairly easy night for him as he didn't have to work very hard just bump and sell for Ventura's plodding offense. After being dominated pretty much the entire match, Backlund would get Jesse in an O'Connor Roll with a bridge to win the match.Next we get Kal Rudman interviewing Putski about coming back to Philadelphia before Albano comes out to say that he respects Putski even if he hates him. Rudman closes the interview out giving Ivan a kielbasa. Then we get Dick Graham interviewing Rick McGraw which was nondescript.
