So Parv was right to refuse to accept that Good point, it is getting close. I was thinking about something with WWWF name to WWF to WWE name and I screwed up my facts. Good call.
August 5, 201510 yr comment_5690284 Great discussion on one of my all-time favorites, guys. Glad to hear the Funker match from Puerto Rico get so much love. It's practically universal praise, which is nice - since I almost always expect somebody to shit on Terry's over the top performance in that match. But it's just so damn enjoyable. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't just free themselves & get caught up in the craziness of it all. I noticed you guys were scrambling to find out more about Martel's early days, initial training, etc. I know most people have heard it, but just in case anyone hasn't... I figured I'd post a link to Martel's RF Video shoot interview here. He goes in-depth on a lot of the earlier stuff, his breaking into the business, his Portland days, etc. Just a tremendous interview that truly shows what a class act the guy is in general. So yeah. August 5, 201510 yr comment_5690313 I did a Martel bio on Titans # 21 if you want to seek that out. I know I touched on a lot of his 70s work. I too really liked this show. Martel is awesome and deserves to get as much praise as possible
