Mami Kumano/Yumi Ikeshita v. Nancy Kumi/Lucy Kayama 2/3 Falls (02/05/1980)

From the 78-83 set, thoughts from the thread.

This is for some kind of tag titles the hold up before the match. Another 2/3 falls match, seems like every show ends in one. The first fall is all about Lucy as a face in peril and it even includes a queen of the mountain spot. The heels have great chemistry as a team. Lucy makes an intense comeback, hot tag is fun but shut down. The first fal continues a lot longer but is a lot of good action. A german suplex gets the heels the first fall win.The death of Lucy continues into fall number two and it even includes a hanging. They do some really cool drop on back of head spots to Lucy too, plus lots of kicks. She must have a concussion. A high flying come back ties this up. Lucy is still dead though. Final fall starts as a brawl. We get Yumi destroying everyone with chairs, cinluding the referee and her partner (by accident). Faces get the chair and return the favour. More floor brawling and we get Lucy doing a top turnbuckle to the floor wiping everyone out (and killing herself on the table). Brawl on the floor, Lucy rolls in and count out. Damn.

This was pretty damn good and I am loving this Yumi-Lucy feud. There was some weird stuff, but that might just be the style. This might be a really low end nomination, but nothing I would fight for.
