January 20, 20169 yr comment_5722107 i'm 30 and i feel like a baby on this forum somehow a discussion on modern cultural relevance doesn't seem that fruitful to me when hardly anyone involved knows what, say, undertale or one punch man is. i love the old man concentration on this board but i guess this is one of the downsides! Enjoy your cultural relevance while you can, as you slide towards 40 and begin to slowly lose touch with all that is hip and modern
January 20, 20169 yr comment_5722114 I hate to make this thread about wrestling, but I am interested in seeing what you make of these matches before you close the book on AJ Parv. for a snapshot of AJ in TNA I'd say: vs Abyss at Lockdown 2005, vs Joe in August 2005 (their first meeting), vs Bully Ray Last Man Standing in 2011 and vs Chris Daniels Last Man Standing in 2012.

Both grand pieces of entertainment. Kinda just wanna play Undertale now. Also very glad that of culturally relevant things UNDERTALE is brought up. I love it!
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722134 I know what Undertale is but have no idea what One Punch Man is. No idea. Honestly, I could totally see Matt liking One Punch Man.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722135 How many people having this age discussion are under the age of 26? I chose to stay out of the discussion because some people on here don't know that people my age exist.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722137 I know what Undertale is but have no idea what One Punch Man is. No idea. Honestly, I could totally see Matt liking One Punch Man. One Punch Man is the way and the light.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722139 How will we live in a world where fresh-faced aliens have replaced the Godfather with One Punch Man and are awarding a cosmos worth of stars to "inauthentic" wrestlers? Sure signs that the long dirt nap awaits us soon.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722142 The idea that One Punch Man, the 34th best anime I've seen is going to achieve the cult status of a western movie like The Godfather is pretty ridiculous. Status like that could only be achieved by western franchises so famous even the old men of prowrestlingonly have heard of them. It probably won't even come close to getting to where Dragon Ball did. It's a tumblr phenomenon about as much as anything, and I don't think it drew exceptionally strong ratings in Japan, it's not unlike any other bit of modern pop culture you won't know of unless you actively seek it out in one way or another.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722143 For what it's worth until I just looked it up I assumed One Punch Man was an American nickname for Deontay Wilder. And I'm 30.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722144 The idea that One Punch Man, the 34th best anime I've seen Well, now we need a list. Also, Undertale is fantastic and I would nominate Papyrus for GWE before I would ever consider voting for AJ Styles.
January 21, 20169 yr Author comment_5722145 We aren't so old on this site. Most of us are in our early 30s right? The grand old men are Johnny, Pete, Good Ol' Will ... I assume Phil is older? (jdw of course)
January 21, 20169 yr Author comment_5722146 I hate to make this thread about wrestling, but I am interested in seeing what you make of these matches before you close the book on AJ Parv. for a snapshot of AJ in TNA I'd say: vs Abyss at Lockdown 2005, vs Joe in August 2005 (their first meeting), vs Bully Ray Last Man Standing in 2011 and vs Chris Daniels Last Man Standing in 2012. I will get to these I promise.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722149 I'm 29 and I had no idea who One Punch Man was until two weeks ago.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722150 The idea that One Punch Man, the 34th best anime I've seen Well, now we need a list. I'll admit that was throwing a random number out more than anything (and one too high at that) buuuuuuuuuut I'm sure I could back even that number one if I watched as much anime now as I did 2-3 years ago. As it stands I would rank all of the following above OPM: Aku No Hana Baccano maybe Black Lagoon Code Geass Cowboy Bebop Death Note maybe Dragon Ball. I know there is a lot of Dragon Ball and my opinion on it fluctuates a lot. so probably some DB series FLCL Furiko Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo Gintama Hajime No Ippo Hellsing maybe Inferno Cop maybe Kill la Kill maybe Kino No Tabi: The Beautiful World Monster Mushishi maybe Natsume Yuujinchou NHK ni Youkoso! Oruchuban Ebichu maybe Outbreak Company Psycho Pass Sakigake!! Cromartie Koukou Samurai Champloo Serial Experiments Lain maybe Space Dandy Steins;Gate Trigun Tsumiki No Ie
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722151 I'm 23. I have no idea what the hell One Punch Man is. I'm guessing Anime? Only Anime I ever watched was Dragon Ball Z as a kid.
January 21, 20169 yr Author comment_5722154 I had this anime tape called RG Veda before. Anime had a little spell of being big in the mid-late 90s. Goth kids were into it. Sailor Moon was a thing. I had the Street Fighter anime series on tape too. Can't believe this thread has become this. Need to review some matches soon I think.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722161 My Anime knowledge starts and ends with the one that was on network TV over here (Channel 4) about early 90s. Dunno what it was called. Oh, Parv, I reckon you'd dig Chris Masters vs Drew McIntyre, Superstars May 2011.
January 21, 20169 yr comment_5722164 I know what Undertale is but have no idea what One Punch Man is. No idea. Honestly, I could totally see Matt liking One Punch Man. One Punch Man is the way and the light. Unless One Punch Man is another name for Sangre Chicana's awesome comeback punch, I don't have time for this until after March.
