Joyce Grable vs. Penny Mitchell (10/16/82)

This isn't much of anything other than Dick Graham & Kal Rudman absolutely lusting over both women in a way that made Jerry Lawler seem like a Tibetian monk.

Salvatore Bellomo vs. The Black Demon (10/16/82)

Nothing match.

WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Title: Pedro Morales © vs. Superstar Billy Graham (10/16/82)

The fans are loving to see him back but he isn't the same SBG as he is now Kung Fu Fighting SBG although he does some of the old SBG crowd pumping before the match. SBG putting the IC title around his waist before the match is quite the symbolic move since he still was considered by some the real WWF champ. Man the crowd heat is intense here as SBG has them riled up with his antics and they are hungry for Pedro to beat SBG's ass. The problem is that the match isn't good at all as both men were are past their prime especially SBG who has to resort to cheap tactics to keep Pedro down. Pedro eventually got pissed off enough to repay SBG with his own roughhouse tactics and eventually assaulted Dick Woerhle for the DQ. SBG grabbed the IC title belt and left ringside with it. Pedro then said he would kill that son of a bitch to Kal Rudman afterwards which was the best part of the whole segment.

Jules Strongbow vs. Swede Hanson (10/16/82)

Oh lord did this suck.

WWF World Heavyweight Title: Bob Backlund © vs. "Playboy" Buddy Rose (10/16/82)

Rose has his female companions with him and Dick & Kal are definitely happy about that. Buddy bumps like crazy to start making Backlund look good before he slows the match down by stalling a little bit and then takes the advantage using a full-nelson but Backlund would break free causing Rose to bump from the ring to the floor in a way that only Buddy could. Backlund tries to get Rose with some quick nearfalls but Buddy comes back using a headscissors to keep Backlund down on the mat before Backlund breaks free sending Rose to the floor again to stall more. Buddy is working full Memphis heel stalling here and it's awesome as the crowd hates his guts then he goes back to the ring and goes right back to the headscissors. All this headwork makes me want a Buddy vs. Fujinami match in the worst way. Buddy stalls more on the floor then attacks Backlund using a variety of offense trying to put Backlund away but Backlund would throw him into the corner where he did the upside down bump very hard and Backlund is pumped up. Bob takes it to Buddy who goes to the floor again this time with Backlund joining him and he would chase him around the ring before Buddy snuck back in the ring to beat the count winning by countout. Backlund would do this finish quite a bit but it was really well done here because of how Buddy kept going to the floor during the match. Buddy declared himself the new champ afterwards which pissed off Bob who sent him back to the floor again. This was a great one man show by Buddy and I'm pushing this forward as a nomination.

I love the Fan Club Corner deal with Dick Graham where a fan totally complains about Backlund being the champ way too long and another thinks that Snuka deserves the title not Backlund.

Next we get Graham interviewing Superstar Billy Graham who talks about his new persona and how he is stronger than ever mentally and physically. This is quite the interview.

Then we get Rudman interviewing Buddy Rose who challenges Larry Holmes to a match saying that Larry wouldn't last a round with him. Rose then says that he deserves a statue like Stallone has in Philly. Buddy talks about how he doesn't lift weights or drinks, smokes, or does drugs he just spends time with women. Extra material.

Chief Jay Strongbow vs. Mr. Saito (10/16/82)

Poor Saito not only being stuck with working Jay but having to job to him clean in 6 minutes.

Tony Garea vs. The White Angel (10/16/82)

Gary Michael Cappetta announces before the match that the curfew has been lifted and this is the next match that follows which is hilarious to me. White Angel sure looks a lot like Johnny Rodz.......who already worked once on this show losing to Curt Hennig. This wasn't much of a match although the highlight is Kal getting his mancrush Garea over for a promo afterwards.
