ACH vs Matt Sydal

 

Hard to follow the previous match. Will pulls a Parv and is fat shaming the ref. I liked the build to the hot finish. Sydal working ACH's leg was well done. ACH sold well. A super fun match that had selling , good work , and high spots and meshed them together .

Time for my favorite tag team, the mother fuckin Addiction, baby.

Edit: Taven swimming in the apron is the best.

Is there an IPPV version or just the PPV. I would have enjoyed seeing this but 45 bucks HD version is kind of a joke.

 

Surprised that Fish didn't win the TV title cause I don't see O'Reilly winning the world title tonight

Three way tag

ok I get it now. The Bucks are the most amazing act to watch live. On tv, they are spotty spot fu machines. Live, they are an interactive experience. This was a blast live and it was all spot fu shtick.

3 way tag match was an awesome spot fest . We got some structure. I did 2 sweet Matt Jackson FYI. Afterwards Kazarian shot the finger in my face. I marked out hard.

Very fun three way spotfest tag. It's interesting that Elgin is still the least over guy in this four way by far. People thought he'd get US momentum off his great G1 but his reactions have been hit and miss at best. I can pick out individual boos and "Go back to Canada"'s from the audience.

I spoke too soon. #BigMike just got himself over.

Styles vs. Elgin vs. Strong vs. Cole

Another super fun match with a couple of botched spots surrounding Michael Elgin. Our whole section hated Elgin. Pete was unusually quiet. I think he was star struck after giving AJ a too sweet.

That four way stunk for the first 80%. Too much cutesy choreographed shit when all four guys were in the ring and no one was selling on the floor or on the apron.

Oh well, at least I'll get to see my man Lethal beat Styles soon. Cause no way is Jay losing the belt here.

If Cole won, then I'd have taken O'Reilly in the main event. But, now Lethal seems like a lock.

I liked the four way but got burnt out on multi-man spotfests with it directly following the three way tag match.

 

I could see AJ winning the ROH title and defending it in Japan. Styles vs. Elgin for the ROH World Title would probably be a good main event for their show in Japan in 2016.

So I guess Corino blew out his voice from, to quote Whitmer from earlier, "screaming SUPERKICK like a dummy?"

Which was line of the night.

Lethal vs. O'Reilly

This was pretty good until the stupid booking. Another heel turn. YAY. Overbooked garbage after what was becoming a good match.

That finish went from total clusterfuck straight into me marking out for the reunited Kingdom beating up that pale loser and standing tall.

"Johnny Sorrow Reviews ROH" needs to be a podcast. Finally someone else who dislikes Kyle O'Reilly as much as I do!

I really enjoyed the main event. Until the finish. O'reilly was bad ass working the arm. They did a great job with teasing the crowd he was going to win the title. With that said Lethal's constant no selling of the arm going for Lethal Injection was so bad. Come on dude .

Haven't watched the show yet but it sounds like a lot of overdone booking by ROH standards. Very interesting that Styles came out on top in the #1 contenders match. Had pegged that for Cole but this looks like we'll get AJ as champ here and defending in Japan, which is a very good thing in my book.

I lost interest just reading the PBP from y'all when I saw ANX. Rhett Titus kills every match I've seen him in.

TItus was fine just getting beat on as an FIP.
