Posted November 24, 200520 yr comment_3999180 This is just too funny not to share: 50 CENT has made a surprise move by stepping forward to heap praise on beleaguered US President GEORGE W BUSH. While Bush is facing growing criticism from American citizens and celebrities, including rapper KANYE WEST, former crack dealer 50 Cent has expressed great admiration for the Republican leader. He says, "(The president) is incredible... A gangsta. I wanna meet George Bush, just shake his hand and tell him how much of me I see in him." The IN DA CLUB rapper, who was shot nine times on the streets of New York City before finding fame, adds that if it wasn't for his felony conviction preventing him from voting, he'd have exercised his right in favour of Bush. link I wonder if 50 based his opinon on this . Politics aside, if Bush came out to deliver a speech with a bulletproof vest under a G-Unit jersey I'd mark out.
November 25, 200520 yr comment_4001870 Heh. Well, this wouldn't be a first time someone of "questionable moral fiber" or whatever pledged support to an old white man that fears change. I seem to recall Marilyn Manson saying he supported the Republican Party because they made the messages in his music more relevant, and them replying that they really, really don't want his support.
November 25, 200520 yr Author comment_4001919 Manson was just a little sarcastic...I think a more exact description would be to say he liked the Republican Party because their outrage over him helped sell his albums.
