1992 had a fair amount of changes too. Obviously Perfect for Warrior, but also Bulldog/Mountie was canceled, and the Nasty Boys ended up replacing the Bushwhackers in the Survivor Series match. Also, Bret/Shawn was champion vs champion but I think when the match was first announced neither guy had their belt yet (Shawn didn't for sure).

JYD and Muraco both got fired for misbehaving on a trip to Europe late in 1988. JYD got drunk and pissed on the bus seats. Not sure about Muraco, think he may have threatened Nick Bockwinkel when he was administering the urine tests or something. But there was a massive cull of talent around that time in any case. Patera, the Bulldogs, Brian Blair, Harley Race, probably others. And plenty of new guys came in, Bad News, Owen Hart, the Bushwhackers, the Rockers, Terry Taylor, Curt Hennig etc.

100% honesty: Doink the Clown, Dink, Wink & Pink Vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler, Cheesy, Sleezy & Quesy from 1994. It even holds up on a re-watch. It's worked as a comedy match. Doink is the first one eliminated. By the rules of the match, that means Jerry can't wrestle the babyface midgets. So he does all of his heeling from the apron & by cheating. Then he gets his comeuppance post-match. It's just entertaining & really light-hearted.

That same PPV also features the great post-win promo by Bob Backlund. "I feel like GOD!"

That whole PPV is fun.

Probably the 93 version, because the first one I saw was 92 and it didn't had any actual Survivor Series match. So it was cool to see that gimmick for the first time. Plus you had the Owen turn, step one, which was totally awesome and unexpected to me. And Savage as a surprise member. And the Quebecers in the main event. And life was easy.
