For sure... Borne has a ton of upside and I enjoyed his mini run in Mid South. I definitely want to see him come back in at some point.

Yeah, I watched that match where Borne/Dibiase won the Mid South tag belts off JYD and Olympia the other day remembered how great Borne was in this time period and shuffled some things around.

Borne was very high on my list for this round, good pick.

Pretty happy so far, I have my table set up in two lists, babyfaces and heels. I managed to get 4 out of my top 5 babyfaces and 2 of the heels.

On the plus side, the AWA loop isn't a far drive from Detroit

And the last couple rounds have definitely depleted what I have left for a big board so from here on out it is all the accompanying pieces

I've got particular slots in my line up and right now my table consists of lists of people I am looking to fill those roles. The last few picks (esp the last one) is seriously depleting those lists and I am on the verge of having to dig in to find new people for those slots.

Im kinda waiting on who is available, there's a couple weird names I am somewhat interested in and if they are gone I'm probably done. I had a board with a handful of different specific roles on it and have filled it, more or less.

Good to see the majority of my roster has gone to places that seem like they will put them to good use. For those unaware, Phil Lafon becomes Danny Kroffat of All Japan fame when the Dan Kroffat of the 70s retires. Also, if you haven't ever seen Mad Dog Lefebvre wrestle, he's worth a look. Plays the gimmick well enough and is a good brawler that can do quite a bit more. He dies Christmas Eve 1985, but that's two years of a quality midcard guy that never got the push he deserved.

I understand if people don't want to tip their hands regarding any draft strategy for whatever reason, but I just want to throw out there that I'm definitely done after Round 10 if there's no set end. At that point I'll just be re-arranging peripheral players by bringing in new folks.

I understand the new guys going on a lot longer, just got my eye on a few low card guys to fill out my empty spots...

After raiding AWA's draft board earlier I'm kinda glad I didn't go with one of my initial instincts and take the Ragin' Bull a bit ago, haha. Don't wanna piss off Verne too much.

After watching Verne for a few months, he can create stars out of nothing, he'll thrive on missing out on guys, I just hope the Latin Lovers don't get split up...

Well the only thing to remember is that once you're done you only have those people that you kept in the people that you drafted. Once the draft is completed than anybody who was not drafted from your unprotected list will come back to you so you can utilize the pics after the 10th round 2 pickup enhancement talent. I think that after around 10 we will go to a 12 hour window just to speed things up so that we can hopefully be done with this by Sunday. How does that sound to everyone?
