Kris & David are joined by Phil Schneider (Segunda Caida) to discuss the week that was December 1-7, 1992. We discuss hell freezing over as Jerry “The King” Lawler signs with the WWF and how that affected the USWA. We also talk about Carlos Colon & Genichiro Tenryu making their Royal Rumble debuts along with Rick & Scott Steiner coming into the WWF. We then talk about the greatness of 1992 All-Japan and the even more greatness of the New Japan vs. WAR feud. Mexico, US Indies, WCW, and a lot more is also talked about among other musings that will make you think and or disgusted!!!!!!!!!!

Timestamps:
0:00:00 WWF
0:48:10 Japan: AJPW, FMW, NJPW, NOW, WAR, & JWP

Wow. Is there a worse team to match the Steiners up with right off the bat than Double Trouble? You eliminate about 80% of the Steiners offense (and their appeal) right away. Checking Graham's site and it looks like they may have realized that as there's only one Double Trouble match and all the other road dates are the Beverly's and Hardy/Gill.

Hehe, jobber pimps!

And I need to find that Howard Finkel heel run yesterday. Great show guys!

I'm way way behind on these shows but the Mike Jackson as "the Moolah of jobbers" thing made me laugh and also kinda blew my mind.

What sort of mindset do you have to have to actually go to "the jobber pimp"?

Also some good lines.

Phil on being accussed of opening some sort of chocolate wrapper: "I'm an athlete, I don't eat that kind of garbage"

Kris on the prospect of an ROH-invite only show: "I hope they remebered to bring the kleenex"

Bix on "Kenneth Kobashi": "That was during the York foundation years"

ha ha
