They played out the end pretty much perfect outside of some blood. In my mind I was begging for him to go back and spear him once more when the refs were carrying him out. He delivered.

Reigns vs Sheamus (TLC WWE Title) - Great match. Both guys brought their A game. I didn't think the interference hurt it at all. The closing angle was great, brilliant, and terrible all in one. It worked, but will now result in Reigns-HHH. Fuck that.

The great thing about is that they might have saved Roman Reigns and actually got him over with the crowd

 

The bad news is that Shemaus is even more irrelevant as a champion

Roman vs HHH has always been what should be the lead-in to Mania so for once I agree with exactly what they are doing. If they fuck this up on Monday they deserve nothing but scorn.

Overall I was happy with the show. Absolutely crazy opener, a couple other okay but not memorable matches, and a main event that accomplished exactly what it needed to. This was fine.

Owens lost weight for his NXT debut but has gained a lot of it back since then. His belly jiggles a bit much for the vibe he's going for.

From what I could tell he was booed at the beginning and for most of the match, but finally got over at the finish just before the interference, and then was over beating up on everyone.

Reigns after a long tease hit a Superman punch on HHH. Reigns grabbed a chair and hit HHH in the cut and back over and over with chair shots. It was funny at one point because HHH told him to do it again and you could hear it so then he did another chair shot. Stephanie was screaming. Reigns gave him a real beating. Reigns gave him a power bomb onto a able that didn't break. Fans were chanting "One more time." Reigns elbow dropped him through the table. They are doing an injury angle with HHH. This finish was great. "Thank you Roman" chant. They are pushing like Reigns is going to be fired for sure. HHH finally got up. Reigns turned around and sprinted down the aisle and speared him again. This was the best thing they’ve done with Reigns. HHH selling it huge. Fans chanting “Thank you Roman.” The crowd didn’t like Reigns at all at first and were cheering heavily for him by the time this was done.

Ah, he hadn't typed that yet the last time I refreshed the page. I love the idea of Trips eventually getting up from the huge beating... only for Roman to run right back and spear him down again.

It was actually really unexpected. They did a huge angle with doctors, steph, Triple H being carried out then Roman runs all the way down the ramp and just absolutely flattened him again. Got a huge pop because they never do that.

I drink and eat a ton and don't exercise nearly as much as Owens and my gut is nowhere near his level. What is he doing for meals? I'm a fan of the guy, but come on, throw in the occasional chicken breast or salad.

Hunter was stretchered out after the show ended. Again this is for naught if Steph opens the show tomorrow by going banshee (or ya-banshee as Dusty would say) on Reigns. And we all know she will

Brock vs Del Rio is in mid December at an LA house show

So if he comes out tomorrow night, they can use that as part of the build to a Rumble match.
