It may be too difficult to put up Match of the year with so many we've seen. It would be as simple as making a topic for each of these posts. Simply reply to the post with your candidate and a small write up if you'd like about them and then we can edit the poll and put them on. Then we can all vote but not for our own candidate?
December 30, 20159 yr comment_5718091 Not sure if we are doing this or not but the Memphis Nominees would be Wrestler of the Year: Jerry Lawler: CWA Champion since Oct. defeated the likes of Ernie Ladd, and Stan Hansen Tag Team of the Year: AWA Southern Champs: Wins over such teams as The Japanese Assassins in a scaffold match, The Wild Samoans, and yes, a win over the Road Warriors FEUD of the Year: Jerry Lawler vs The House of Humperdink Most Popular: Jerry Lawler: This is Memphis. Enough Said. Most Hated: Ernie Ladd: His racist remarks have angered everyone from fans, politicians to wrestlers. His Army has been arrested, suspended and fired due to his instructions. He stole JYD's Music, Jerry Lawler's Crown and continues to raise his fist in a symbol of Black Power. Manager of the Year: Nobody in Memphis yet fits this bill. Sir Oliver Humperdink is working on it.
