Hey fellas. I am going to attempt again to take a break. I have already notified guys like KZ, ss billy, and EJ that my trading is on hiatus. I have two huge orders I am filling out now (52 and 54 discs) and am going to convert and inspect ten tapes from a guy on the Crazy Max board. If Tim has already sent his package, I will be converting those. If he hasn't sent already then who knows when they will get here so no big deal there. Loss's discs are ready to go after he is finished with my discs. sek, I saw your request and i'll send a copy in the mail this week. You can pay me back later.

 

In the meantime, I have to finish cataloguing Dan's Mid South tapes and converting those. I am also working on a Hart Foundation comp that is about 8 months in the making. And finally, I hope to have as many of the MOTY discs completed as possible. These three projects will take up most of my time but they will be worth it. So... this is attempt #3 at taking a break. Slap me if I enter into more trades.

I thought you were able to take somewhat of a break before, albeit a shorter one than you wanted. At any rate, you deserve the relaxation. We'll all still be here with our lists when you get back

BTW, I'm slowing things down through the end of the month as well. I'll still probably trade within the circle, but because of holiday shipping I think it's a good time to take a step back.

Ok Mort, I can trade you for them but they won't be ready until January at the earliest since we are doing MOTYCs for the entire year (Dec. included). In fact, I may be calling on you for a trade so I can pick up some shows that I need in order to fill in the blanks.

Everyone I do business with there is in our inner sanctum anyway so why should I bother going there anymore?

Oh, there are plenty of good traders over there. I just know if I continue at the pace I am going, I won't catch a breath until Spring Break and I would like to actually enjoy this wrestling at some point.

What makes it sillier is that Road Warrior Mark, one of the most respected traders over there, is female, but she doesn't feel the need to use her gender as a weapon either.

1. Apparently sXe Chic has left the board (except for the few threads in the trader folder devoted to kissing her ass) because people on CMax were "stalking" her (ie some folks were becoming wise to her game of being the token female attention whore on a male dominated board).

 

2. Making a post in the traders folder asking why someone who told you he shipped twice and didn't is now subject to said person throwing an AIM tantrum demanding an apology for damaging his "rep". Also, it's your fault, your Post Office's fault, Christmas's fault, your dog's fault, and probably Baby Jesus's fault the stuff he shipped didn't reach your doorstep. Then they'll make a homophobic post about you that they'll quickly edit before someone in power sees it.
