This was quite the way to end the Stardom/Sendai Girls feud, or at least for now. Story of the match has Io constantly getting drilled by Meiko but still managing to get in some comeback and slowly chip away at Satomura. The strikes here are just nasty, maybe it was the way that the sound was setup but you could hear pretty much every shot the whole match. Wasn't crazy about some of Io's selling on her comebacks, she hit some big stuff a little too easily. Still an awesome way to end the year for Shirai, who is my personal woman wrestler of the year. ****

This was very good. I actually though that Meiko Satomura was clearly the better performer here - her work on top was wonderful, she just gave Io an AWESOME ass-kicking. Io's comebacks were good, but really didn't match the greatness of Meiko's brutal work over her, and that is why this didn't go ****+ in my eyes. ***3/4

Match was not as good as I hoped but I find Satomura bouts disappointing more often than not anyways. Io is awesome and delivers a great performance here, oscillating between cockiness and vulnerability. Nutty action and a strong narrative. Overall, a good match. ***1/4

Very good title match. The first 10 minutes or so of Satomura decimating Io are just fantastic. Io's bumping is something else. Made sense how the tables turned when Io took things into the crowd and hit that crazy moonsault over the stairs.. I wasn't so keen on the middle section where Io hit a load of moves and got a series of run of the mill two counts but things come together again for a hot final few minutes and a big moment for Io Shirai and Stardom as a whole.
