Tony & David star the show going over what happened at Starrcade.

A despondent Tully Blanchard & Baby Doll come out where Tully said that I Quit never came out of his mouth and that he would be getting his belt back soon.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Jim & Mac Jeffers

RnR make quick work of the future Mod Squad.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Tommy Lane

Lane's tribute to Hijo del Santo's tights is tremendous here and definitely made me want to see a Santo vs. Garvin match. Lane came at Garvin hard to start the match throwing some hard shots until Garvin came back firing even harder shots. Garvin wasn't playing around now and just KOed Lane to win the match.

Next we get the Starrcade video.

Then we get a promo with the new US Champ Magnum TA talking about wanting all challengers then talked about the Bunkhouse Stampede coming up.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Italian Stallion

Arn was supposed to be in the match but he gave it to Nikita instead. Nikita is pissed and he takes it out on Stallion.

Tommy Young joins Tony & David next and tells his side of the story of what happened between Flair & Dusty at Starrcade and why Flair is still the world champ. Flair then comes out and eviscerates David Crockett which was awesome. This is all a definite extra.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Adrian Bivens & Paul Garner

This is a complete destruction.

Tully Blanchard & The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) vs. Billy Jack Haynes, Sam Houston, & Magnum TA

The fans are red hot here for this match and the babyfaces are dominant especially Magnum who takes it to all the heels especially Tully. Sam would come in and he got some shine on Arn but would get caught in the heels corner and they got control briefly. Sam though to his credit fought back and had Ole reeling for a minute but he wouldn't make the tag as he wanted more of Ole although he did eventually crawl over to Magnum to get the tag. BJH would come in and he press slammed all the heels then flexed as the crowd went wild. The crowd sure did love chanting "I Quit" to Tully which is funny because again he never said those words. BJH would get caught by the heels and they actually got an extended amount of time on offense now after short spurts before going to break. When we come back though Magnum is in the ring and then we have a 6-way brawl before it calms down and Magnum is isolated in the heels corner where they start working him over now. Magnum was an interesting choice to work FIP but he was really good and the heels were just as good at pounding on him. Tully dropped Magnum with a nice front piledriver which you didn't see back then and it looked like it hurt Magnum. The battle for the hot tag was so damn good as Mangum was like life and death trying to get there and the heels would cut him off right as he was about to do it. Magnum would eventually get to Sam who ran wild on the heels even getting the bulldog headlock on Ole for a nearfall. The 6-way brawl would start back up and Sam would have Ole pinned before Arn jumped off the top rope on him and Ole would cover to win. The match was really good but Magnum's FIP work put this over the top to me as a nomination. Low-end pick.

Dusty comes out next for a promo about not being the champion after Starrcade then starts burying the girls in the crowd for chanting for Flair which was hilarious. Extra material.

The Road Warriors are out next with Paul Ellering in a neckbrace for a promo where they talk about World War 3 and the revenge they will get on them.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Vernon Deaton

Valiant plays around with Deaton a little before finally finishing him off with the diving elbow drop.

Jim Crockett comes out and announces that Krusher Khruschev will defend his Mid-Atlantic Title against Pez Whatley next week.

The Russians then would join Tony at the desk about pissing off the Road Warriors and how they will take care of them as well as getting their NWA World Tag Titles back from RnR.

Terry Taylor vs. Brody Chase

Taylor worked a little tight with Chase before finishing him off with a Superplex.

The Barbarian vs. George South

South has no chance in hell with the big man here.

JJ Dillon comes out next to talk about Buddy Landell's great victory over Terry Taylor at Starrcade for the National Heavyweight Title.

"Nature Boy" Buddy Landell vs. Jeff Smith

Budro looks great here and says that now that he is a champion he is to act like a champion so he elbows Smith right in the face. God damn if only Buddy would've showed up to TV a week or so later.

The Barbarian & Paul Jones are out for a promo next where Jones said that he wants to prove that Barbarian is the strongest man in wrestling so they want Billy Jack Haynes.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Krusher Khruschev vs. Jimmy Backlund & Mark Cooper

Backlund just ate death in this match as the Russians destroyed these guys.

Tully & Baby Doll come back out next and Tully warns Flair about how the NWA does business so he needs a lawyer.

Tully promo where he says he didn't say I Quit-Extra

Tommy Young joins Tony & David next and tells his side of the story of what happened between Flair & Dusty at Starrcade and why Flair is still the world champ. Flair then comes out and eviscerates David Crockett which was awesome. This is all a definite extra.

I totally agree.

Tully Blanchard & The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) vs. Billy Jack Haynes, Sam Houston, & Magnum TA

This is a low end nomination. They got 20 minutes or so in the studio and had a good match. We start with a good shine segment. They tease Haynes Full Nelson on all 3 heels. Haynes even press slams all 3 Horseman, even Ole. Haynes goes FIP for a bit. It's not all that well done. We go to the commercial break. When we are back TA is kicking ass. He's owning the Horseman for a bit until Tully uses a leverage move and now TA is FIP. This was executed well with TA fighting underneath. This was lengthy so you really got behind TA. When he almost gets the tag and Ole cuts him off it pissed me off. We finally get the hot tag to Houston. He's a house of fire throwing rapid punches. Now we have a pier 6 brawl. Behind the refs back while Houston has Tully pinned Arn comes off the top to turn the tide. Tully gets the duke. It was also a nice touch that BJ had Ole in the Full Nelson but they weren't the legal men.
