Budro starts the show with a promo holding his National Heavyweight Title belt and he talks mad shit on Magnum TA who was in the ring and this is fun stuff.

Magnum TA vs. Bill Tabb

This goes maybe 20 seconds as Magnum is pissed.

Arn Anderson comes out next for a promo whining about not having the NWA World TV Title belt anymore and that he would make a name for himself after winning the tournament on January 4th.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) vs. Italian Stallion & Rocky King

Stallion & Rocky were spunky to start but the Andersons would soon take control working over Rocky's left arm like crazy before Arn nukes him with the Gourdbuster for the win.

Tully Blanchard vs. Gerald Finley

Tully starts off strong but Finley comes back with some offense that pisses Tully off and he just pounds on him before dropping him with the Slingshot Suplex to win.

Next we get a promo from America's Team (Dusty Rhodes & Magnum TA) in their full-length fur coats and this is an amazing visual as well as a fun promo about the future Horsemen. Definite extra.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Vernon Deaton & George South

RnR take their time working over these guys before finishing them off with a double dropkick.

The Russians are out next for a promo whining about the RnR Express still being champs and their issues with the Road Warriors with clips of an angle from World Wide where the Roadies attacked them and Hawk ended up being choked with the chain.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Mac Jeffers

Jeffers has to fight all of the Russians basically here at various points before Nikita drops him with two Russian Sickles to win.

Tully is out next for a promo and he said that it took a miracle for Magnum to win the US Title and that he would get his belt back soon.

Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title: Krusher Khruschev © vs. "Pistol" Pez Whatley

Interesting matchup here. Pez works over Krusher's left arm early on with Krusher countering with some armwork of his own. Pez in-between the armwork was looking good with a great dropkick plus hitting some nice armdrags. Krusher would finally break free and did a good job of selling the arm when trying to mount some offense on Pez. Whatley was fine in peril getting a nice nearfall on a backslide as well as an inside cradle not to mention some punches that would slow Krusher down. Krusher would eventually chunk Pez to the floor where Ivan was stalking him but Pez would get back in the ring with a sunset flip from the apron for a nearfall. Krusher would climb up top where he got pressslammed off by Pez who is fired up now and he starts taking it to Krusher sending him to the floor with a dropkick then hits him with a TOPE SUICIDA!!!!! which was awesome. Pez then hit his flying headbutt for a nearfall because Ivan grabbed his legs which was enough for Krusher to catch him with a Russian Sickle to win. Definitely one of the best Krusher singles matches you would find and I wish I could nominate this but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Jim Crockett then announced that Ron Bass, Manny Fernandez, & Ronnie Garvin vs. Black Bart, Buddy Landell, & Thunderfoot for next week which kills the gimmick of every Championship Challenge match in December being a title match.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Larry Clark & Paul Garner

The Roadies are pissed and kill these guys.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew are out next for a promo where Arn talks about the fur coats that America's Team being silly and Ole wants to hurt people.

Sam Houston vs. Mike Nichols

Sam takes his time working over Mike's left arm but the fans want him to finish the match so they chant "BULLDOG BULLDOG" until he finally hits it to win.

The Barbarian & Paul Jones are out next for a promo where Jones talks about Barbarian ruling the world and mocking Martin Luther King's I Have A Dream speech in Atlanta no less.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez vs. Kent Glover

Manny gets pissed that Glover won't fight back and just terrorizes him for a while before hitting the Flying Burrito to win.

Ronnie Garvin is out next for a promo and he wants a shot at Landell's National Heavyweight Title.

The Barbarian vs. Alan Martin

The future Mr. Alan Martin & Kevin Dillenger has no chance here as Barbarian just slams Martin all over the floor tearing him up before finishing him with the diving headbutt.

The Road Warriors are out next for a promo where they keep talking about their war on the Russians and they are pissed.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Al Scott

Garvin just brutalizes poor Scott here with strikes before knocking him out.

The RnR Express are out for a promo and this is the first time that they cut a promo on the MX on WTBS.....a feud is reborn. Extra material.
