Sheepherders vs Ricky Santana/Kendall Windham

We get some fun back and forth early. The stooging by the Sheepherders is really good. Sheepherders cheat to set up the heat on Kendall. I think the Sheepherders heat section is good. Kendall finally makes the hot tag. This was a solid.

Dusty interview

Nikita Koloff vs Tiger Conway jr.

Basic Nikita match. Sells and the sickle comes out of no where for the win.

Arn Anderson/Tully Blanchard vs Barry Windham/Steve Williams

This was a real solid tag. The early face shine really didn't do much for me, but I did love how Windham fed Tully to Doc for just a sick looking press slam. Now the FIP work by Windham was really great . Plus the heels just doing some real fun work on Windham's arm. Arn in particular was really great at working the arm. Hot tag was a lot of fun. Finish was telegraphed, but oh well. I give this a low-end nomination.

Ricky Santana & Kendall Windham vs. The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) (4/14/88)

Good back and forth action here until the DQ finish where Johnny Ace used the flagpole and got the Sheeps pissed off at him after the match. It was announced later that a rematch would happen next week.

Next we get a David Crockett special interview with Dusty Rhodes talking about his suspension and this is good stuff. Extra material.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Tiger Conway Jr. (4/14/88)

This is an odd matchup and Conway does get some offense in but it doesn't last real long and he eats a Russian Sickle to end the match.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams & Barry Windham (4/14/88)

Odd seeing Doc & Windham tagging up and being all friendly after the Starrcade aftermath. Doc nearly breaking Arn's neck on a press slam early on was scary and he was favoring his shoulder afterwards. The Horsemen were really good early on at taking punishment especially Tully. Windham gets sent to the floor after hitting Tully hard and they work him over fiercely after that especially Arn focusing on Windham's left arm the Anderson way. They are telegraphing the time limit draw as Jim Ross counts down the minutes as Barry is getting beaten on. Windham makes a valiant comeback finally getting the hot tag to Doc who runs wild before it turns into a 4-way brawl with the babyfaces having the Horsemen reeling. The countdown happens and no one is close to getting a fall so it ends up a draw although they keep fighting after the match. This had some really good action and I think it should move forward.
