Posted April 1, 200520 yr comment_1508724 This will make the third play I've seen this year, as I previously watched Angels In America Part I and Angels In America Part II, which were pretty intense. This one looks like it might be even better from the sound of it. Never The Sinner: The Leopold and Loeb Story by John Logan March 25, 26, April 1, 2, 8, 9 Winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Play, John Logan?s moving yet horrifying Never the Sinner is a compelling work about one of the most truly shocking crimes in history. In a timeless confrontation over the usefulness/uselessness of social vengeance, Clarence Darrow argued, in court and personally, against the necessity of hanging two teenage millionaires who killed an innocent boy just to prove themselves Nietzchean supermen above the law. Directed by Ralph Hyman I just wondered if anyone has seen it or knows anything about the play. And while we're at it, what are some of the best plays you've all seen live? Seeing Macbeth a few years ago still takes the cake for me, but I thought this might make a good discussion.

I also caught the Lion King in Toronto five years back. Was never a huge fan of the story or movie, but what they pulled off was amazing on a visual level. Two years back, I had to work as part of the stage crew for a community theater's presentation of Footloose. Watching them rehearse constantly and then seeing them do the show everyday for three straight weeks was a blast and I dare say that the music and actors did a better job here than the movie did.
