Americas Team promo

Ron Bass vs Gerald Finley

Jim Crockett appearance

JJ promo

Tully Blanchard vs Terry Taylor

This was a good match. It did seem like it would have been better suited if 5 minutes were cut. Early Taylor had all the answers to Tully. Taylor gets the arm and would work it in between fighting with Tully. Eventually, Terry went for the leg and it seemed Tully wanted him to because it lead to an eye rake by Tully to lead to his heat segment. Tully would use roughhouse tactics to work over Taylor. Taylor would eventually lock on the Figure 4 as time expires. Low-end nomination.

Andersons promo and Flair

Harley Race vs Jeffers

Paul Jones promo

Nikita Koloff vs Chase

Rock N Roll Express vs Erich/Martin

JJ and Black Bart promo

a disc I reviewed earlier is on this too.

The show starts with America's Team with Tony & David talking about their war with the Andersons and how Tully has now joined in since they helped break Sam Houston's arm. They are promising revenge and violence against them. Dusty is great here talking about being cold blooded.

"Outlaw" Ron Bass vs. Gerald Finley (8/10/85)

Bass is ruthless here putting Finley away easily with the Iron Claw.

Jim Crockett is out next talking about the upcoming Tully vs. Terry Taylor match for the US Title later in the show and then announced that the Rock n Roll Express would face The Rising Suns next week. JJ Dillon then comes out wearing an amazing jacket talking up his new charges.

US Heavyweight Title: Tully Blanchard © vs. Terry Taylor (8/10/85)

Tully hemms and hawws early on trying to keep Taylor at bay and control the pace. Taylor takes control of Tully and keeps him grounded working over the left arm but Tully would send Taylor through the ropes which gave him the chance he needed to get control. That doesn't happen though as basically this match is all back and forth with Taylor having the edge at times. Both men were tired and tried to capitalize on the other one's fatigue to get the win. One problem was on commentary where they clearly told you this was going to a draw so you knew the finish which I always hated with draws. The fans are into everything and Taylor gets some good nearfalls but just can't put Tully away. Taylor would get the figure-four locked on as the time was about to run out which it did then Baby Doll got in the ring jumping in Taylor's face before Tully jumped him from behind. Tully then dropped Taylor with the Slingshot Suplex for good measure. This was a pretty good match and I'll back a low-end nomination.

Andersons come out next and talk about how Sam Houston's broken arm was a message to America's Team about what is in store for them in the future. Flair then comes out next joining his cousins talking about how he will be the champ for a long while.

Harley Race vs. Jim Jeffers (8/10/85)

Race making a rare appearance on the show and he takes Jeffers to school. Race puts hin away with a regular suplex.

Paul Jones along with Abby & Barbarian are out next for a promo talking about being united and it ends up with Abby trying to eat Tony's tie.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Brodie Chase (8/10/85)

Nikita wins quickly and along with Ivan they cut a promo on Flair after the match.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Keith Eric & Alan Martin (8/10/85)

Another strong win for the RnR with Cornette on commentary being hilarious.

Black Bart & JJ Dillon are out next talking about Ron Bass leaving the fold and Bart said that he is going to make Bass pay for that decision.

Next is stuff we have already seen.
