Tully Blanchard vs Ron Bass

Bass starts out strong. Bass teasing the claw early. He gets it but Tully gets outside. Bass working over the head. Big knee to the head by Bass. Tully tosses Bass to the outside. Bass got the claw again, but Tully escapes. Tully getting some offense. Flying elbow from Tully. Again Bass softening Tully's head with headbutts.Tully is the master of cheapshotting offense. Bass is busted open. Bass is just kicking Tully's ass. I've enjoyed this match, but I think it was booked a little too long especially for that finish. Post match Bart and Tully work over Bass. Still I liked it warts and all for a low end nomination.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Golden Terror (10/13/85)

Your standard Valiant squash.

Jim Cornette then comes out after the match talking about Valiant calling him Mama's Boy and he is tired of him & Rocky King so the MX is going to get rid of them.

Black Bart vs. Italian Stallion (10/13/85)

Stallion gives Bart a good fight but Bart was upset about losing his National Title and he takes it out on Stallion.

Next we get a taped promo from Wahoo McDaniel in Florida saying that he is upset at what happened with Dusty Rhodes being injured and he is coming back to help him fight against the blossoming Horsemen.

Superstar Billy Graham is out next in all his colorful glory talking about wanting to face Flair in the future.

Arn Anderson vs, Ricky Reeves (10/13/85)

Arn looks very impressive here winning with the Gourdbuster then joins Tony after the match talking about how he wants to be addressed as the current NWA World TV Champ.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Brady Boone & Mac Jeffers (10/13/85)

The MX run like a machine here steamrolling these guys.

Next we get Rodger Kent making his debut with a bad dye job talking about Starrcade 85 and showing clips of past Starrcades. Jim Crockett then would announce that Starrcade would come to The Omni too and the fans in the buildings would watch both shows. They also show clips of the Koloffs regaining the NWA World Tag Titles from the RnR.

Then we get the return of Dusty Rhodes to TV as he is at ringside on crutches talking about missing dates before Arn & Tully show up with Tully kicking Dusty's leg out from under him then they laugh as they leave. Extra material.

Tony & David are pissed at what happened and they show how Arn stole the NWA TV Title belt in slow motion.

US Heavyweight Title: Tully Blanchard © vs. Cowboy Ron Bass (10/13/85)

Bass looks good early as he takes the battle to Tully and tries to put the Iron Claw on him but Tully goes to the floor. JJ Dillon does commentary for this which was interesting since he used to manage Bass and would soon manage Tully. Bass would get the Claw while standing on the floor but that wouldn't work so he got back in the ring where he ate some offense from Tully. We go to commercial and come back with Bass having Tully reeling but he is also juicing so he wasn't 100% and Tully goes back to work on him as Black Bart has shown up on the scene as well. Bass fights back but Baby Doll distracts him allowing Tully to get back up but Bass puts him back down. This becomes a total war of atrition as both men can't put the other one away and are just firing shots. Tully would come off the top rope right into the Claw by Bass before Baby Doll ran in for the DQ. Bass then got his ass kicked by Bart & Tully afterwards. This was a pretty long TV match but had some really fun action and Bass juicing added some drama. I'll pass this forward as a low-end nomination.

Jim Crockett then comes out and announced that Wahoo McDaniel would be defending his Southern Heavyweight Title against The Barbarian next week.

Denny Brown vs. Randy Barber (10/13/85)

Good spotlight win for Denny.

Abdullah the Butcher vs. Jim Jeffers (10/13/85)

Total squash for Abby.

Superstar Billy Graham vs. John Barnes (10/13/85)

John Barnes was actually Carl Styles under a different name which was hilarious. SBG had no issues here.

Paul Jones is out after the match talking about how SBG has an attitude problem and he must honor their contract with SBG calling him a liar and a weasel. Jones goes running away.

Tully is out next in his Bunkhouse Stampede gear gloating about what he did to Bass & Dusty today on TV and that more is coming.

Thunderfoot vs. Starship Eagle (10/13/85)

Competitive match but we don't get a finish.
