Tama Samoa vs. Vinnie Valentino (8/23/86)

Another bland babyface match that goes to a time limit draw.

Cocoa Samoa & Ricky Santana vs. "Mean" Mike Miller & "The Crippler" Rip Oliver (8/23/86)

The early part of the match is Miller stooging around for Santana and the fans are definitely into it. Cocoa comes in and we get more of the same as he fires off chops and strikes to Miller. The heels would get some shine on Cocoa but it doesn't take long for him to make a comeback and the heels are in trouble again. Santana gets sent into the heel corner though and they double-team him some behind Sandy Barr's back but again it isn't long before the faces come back. Oliver though would sneak in a shot to Cocoa's throat to win the 1s fall. Miller & Oliver would then cut a promo between falls before we get a video of Bruiser Brody from Texas All-Star. The 2nd fall would start up with the heels continuing to pound on Cocoa until Santana got tired of it and it became a 4-way brawl with Cocoa hitting a flying headbutt out of nowhere on Miller to win the fall. Between falls we get promos from Abudadein & Miller. The 3rd fall starts up with more of the babyfaces domination until Miller got a backdrop suplex hold on Santana with Santana getting his shoulder up but Miller's stayed down and the faces won. The Clan then attacked Sandy Barr afterwards until the faces ran them off. The match was decent but way too much babyface domination for me.

Cocoa & Santana then cut a promo afterwards on The Clan.

"Vicious" Verne Siebert vs. Tama Samoa (8/30/86)

Verne is wearing normal tights here but the fans still cat call him which is funny. The match is okay but nothing special.

Next we get a promo from Brady Boone & Scott Doring about their upcoming match with Abudadein & Mike Miller for the Northwest Tag Titles. This is a terrible promo.

Northwest Tag Titles: Abudadein & "Mean" Mike Miller vs. Brady Boone & Scott Doring (8/30/86)

This started off fine with the babyfaces working over Abudadein before Abudadein dropped Boone with Eddie Gilbert's Hot Shot. The heels took over here and worked over Boone in a slow plodding manner. Doring would get the hot tag and ran wild but did the job on a russian legsweep from Miller to end the 1st fall. The heels then cut a promo between falls. The faces steamrolled the champs in the 2nd fall with Doring destroying Miller then Santana hit the Rocket Launcher on him to even the falls. Rip Oliver cuts a promo between falls and we get the Brody video again. The 3rd fall started up with a minute left on the show and of course this ended up in a total clusterfuck. This was very clunky at times.

Then we get promos from Cocoa & Santana talking up their matches with The Clan.

Scott Doring vs. Verne Siebert (9/6/86)

Another Doring vs. Siebert match........the highlight of this is that Vinnie Valentino does guest commentary and boy is it terrible. Doring would get the pin on a powerslam.

Cocoa Samoa vs. Joey Jackson (9/6/86)

Jackson is becoming more heelish by the week but he's still boring and still can't win matches.

Next we get a battle royal for $2,500 where every wrestler is involved except Rip Oliver who Don Owen said was barred from competing because he didn't want him winning the money. As far as battle royals go this was par for the course but it was more entertaining than the normal matches. Abudadein would win by throwing Brady Boone over the top.

Scott Doring vs. Verne Siebert (9/13/86)

ANOTHER DORING vs. SIEBERT match.....amazing...but this was actually the best match they had against each other as both men got their fair share of offense in but Doring got the win with his powerslam again.

"Mean" Mike Miller vs. Vinnie Valentino (9/13/86)

These two guys jobbed together in Florida and JCP years earlier and they faced off in opening matches so they had a good chemistry together. Miller was very good at bumping and selling for Valentino here. Valentino was fired up and was effective with his offense but not spectacular. Miller would hit his Russian legsweep to get the win. This was a pretty decent match and could've been a nomination had the finish not been so flat.

Then we get promos from Abudadein & Miller about the big shows coming up soon.

Steel Cage Match: "The Crippler" Rip Oliver vs. Cocoa Samoa (9/13/86)

Don Owen said before the match there is no time limit and there must be a winner. Oliver is in control early and often here as he is the first one to bash Cocoa's head into the cage then uses the cage to hold him up as walks across the top rope to hit a double axehandle on Cocoa who is juicing now. Oliver works over the cut but the blood bleeds into Cocoa's eyes which motivates him to fight back and he comes back firing shots which brings out the juice from Oliver as the TV time countdown is under 2 minutes left so we are going to get screwed out of this one. Don Coss then says that they have to go to commercial now just while Cocoa is rendering Oliver a bloody mess and of course they come back from commercial so Boone & Santana can cut a promo about future matches.....RIDICULOUS......

Vinnie Valentino vs. Verne Siebert (9/20/86)

This starts JIP and at least Siebert isn't working Doring again. Valentino wins in a decent match.

Cocoa Samoa is out next for a promo talking about losing his Northwest Heavyweight Title to Oliver during the week and he is going to get it back.

Brady Boone & Ricky Santana vs. Abudadein & Mike Miller (9/20/86)

The faces are calling themselves the "B.S. Express" now which is hilarious. Abudadein talks shit on Santana before the match calling him a wetback which is funny since a month ago he said that Santana was Cuban not Mexican. The crowd definitely helped this match as they really hated the heels and were chanting USA throughout. Santana got destroyed in the 1st fall but would get the hot tag to Boone who ran wild until we got a horribly botched sunset flip which these botches happen way too much in Portland. Santana would come in and get an O'Connor Roll on Miller to win the 1st fall. Boone & Santana cut a promo between falls. The 2nd fall starts up with the heels dominating Boone but he would get the hot tag to Santana who teed off on Miller but would get his legs taken out from under him by Miller who put his feet on the ropes to even the falls. Abudadein & Miller then cut a promo between falls. The 3rd fall starts up with the heels back to working over Boone but Santana would come in and he pounded on the heels some before tagging Boone back in where he hit a big legrop off the top rope. Boone though would get caught up by the heels until he made the hot tag to Santana who ran wild and the pace here is really good as time is ticking. As time ran out the heels choked Santana with Miller's bandana along with the top rope. This was a pretty good match even with the botch and I'm throwing this up as a low-end nomination. The best non-Chris Colt match I've seen from this period.

Rip Oliver cuts a promo next with his Northwest Heavyweight Title belt and how he isn't losing it.

Tama Samoa vs. "The Crippler" Rip Oliver (9/27/86)

Tama puts forth a game effort but Oliver is too much for him. Oliver though gets frustrated and chokes Tama on the ropes to get DQed before Cocoa runs him off.

Vinnie Valentino is out next for a promo talking about Don Coss' great tuxedo selections and about what's going on in the area.

Cocoa Samoa vs. Joey Jackson (9/27/86)

I dug this match because Cocoa spent most of the match just stretching Jackson on the mat like he owed him money. Cocoa busted open in the mouth as well so this was not a fun night for him. Jackson tried to fight back but Cocoa just bashed him with a headbutt then a thrust to the throat before the Samoan Drop ended the 1st fall. This was a total beating and between falls Cocoa & Tama vowed to destroy Oliver. The 2nd fall continued with more of the same as Cocoa just smacked Joey in the chest so hard that Joey had to go to the floor to shake it off. Cocoa just pastes him with chops but Cocoa would miss a splash on the ropes and Jackson catches him with a pinfall to even the falls in a mild upset. Brady Boone then cuts a promo between falls. Jackson started the 3rd fall trying to beat Cocoa but it wasn't long before Cocoa caught him with his flying headbutt to win the match.

The Clan is out next and said that they don't ride animals....they ride women!!!!!!!! The Clan are all just talking mad shit on the women in the area and it's hilarious. Extra material.

Joey Jackson vs. Tama Samoa (10/4/86)

Joey has new long red tights and while Tama isn't as rough working him over as Cocoa was, he is still trying to stretch him and he ties him up like a pretzel. Jackson actually going to a draw with Tama was a big move up for him.

Then we get a promo from Vinnie Valentino who again talks about how great Don Coss' clothes are.

Scott Doring vs. "The Crippler" Rip Oliver (10/4/86)

I loved Doring whining and bitching to Sandy Barr about having his hair pulled....a guy that size acting like that. The match featured a lot of resting on the mat between Doring's power moves where at one point he totally lost Oliver in the air on a press slam then fell on him to win the 1st fall....HILARIOUS. Cocoa & Doring then cut promos between falls and it's not good. The 2nd fall would start with Doring taking the fight to Oliver but Oliver caught him with a quick thumb to the throat to even the falls. Boone & Santana cut a promo between falls with their newly won Northwest Tag Titles. Doring came out firing in the 3rd fall but Oliver would low blow him prompting a DQ finish. Blah match.

Abudadein & Mike Miller cut a promo next without their tag titles and they talk about getting them back soon.

Brady Boone & Ricky Santana vs. Abudadein & Joey Jackson

This was JIP as a football game ran long and the match was fine for what it was nothing special. I will say this....Ricky Santana used The Stroke as a finisher in 1986....and he named it Sudden Impact.

Cocoa Samoa cuts a promo on The Clan...nothing new.

Abudadein & Miller then cut a promo to close the show and it's pretty good mainly because of Abudadein.
