Regarding the Louisiana rant.. I have a parent that works in a capacity for an insurance company (in a tech role)... that company doesn't do business in Louisiana due to a mix of corruption and Louisana using the Napoleonic code for their state laws,

When I started watching Memphis back in 81, I thought it was the only wrestling around. My brother would watch occasionally and one day said, "You know there's more wrestling on. There's some show called ICW. They kidnapped some wrestler named Pez Whatley and put a bra and mop on him. There's two awesome wrestlers named Randy Savage and Lanny Poffo to."

 

Of course I had to start watching. So I got to see a lot of pre Memphis Randy Savage and you could tell he was a star. I still remember George Weingeroff coming on and apologizing for Dundee being injured by Savage.

 

Definitely looking forward to hearing Cornette talk about it

I don't know if he could drop the schtick for an interview, but I'd love to hear Bolin talk about his young days around Cornette, taping wrestling, trying to find different wrestling.

Very interesting talk about Eddie Gilbert's SMW run which you will see refuted some of what we talk/speculate about on the SMW 1995 show. Good work guys, I've always wanted to hear Jimmy talk at length about Gilbert.

Great shout on Bolin. Don't think I've ever heard or seen anything with him when he is not in full on gimmick mode.

 

Haven't listened to all of this yet, but as per your previous episode with him, so good to hear Cornette in this environment just talking old wrestling and especially liking the talk on ICW.

This episode was awesome. Great stuff guys. I could sit and listen to the three of you talk for hours about...well...whatever apparently because I love the almost "stream of consciousness" topics that run through this show.
