World Championship Wrestling 10/10/87

The Canadian Kodiaks vs. Terry Jones & Rocky King (9/30/87)

Kodiaks didn't wrestle long and were green as grass here. Skandor Akbar was their manager and cuts a promo afterwards.

Kevin Sullivan vs. George South (9/30/87)

Squash and another nutty Sullivan promo afterwards kissing Dusty's ass.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Mike Force (9/30/87)

Squash.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Ed Franks & Keith Steinborn (9/30/87)

Squash and a promo afterwards.

The Warlord vs. Mac McGyver (9/30/87)

Squash and a Paul Jones promo afterwards.

UWF TV Title: Terry Taylor © vs. Tommy Angel (9/30/87)

Squash with Gilbert on commentary.

The Horsemen are all out next in full for a group promo and odd seeing Flair the only one without a title to close out the show.

NWA Pro Wrestling 10/17/87

This starts with JJ Dillon & Luger with Bob Caudle at ringside and Dillon said that he has brought in the true master of the sleeper hold Hiro Matsuda to strike fear in Weaver.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Rocky King & George South (10/6/87)

Arn & Tully just steamroll through these guys here.

RnR join Tony next talking about losing their titles and Morton still has his arm in a sling. Morton said they will fight to get their titles back but right now their main focus is on the MX and getting revenge. Extra material.

Barry windham vs. Colt Steele (10/6/87)

Windham wins fairly quickly with the Lariat.

Ric Flair then joins Tony next talking about getting his revenge against Garvin in a Steel Cage at Starrcade. The stipulation about Ronnie not defending his title for a month before Starrcade was ridiculous. Flair is great here talking about Garvin now has everyone coming for him now since he is the champion. Flair said that this is his last shot and he is bringing the belt home. Extra material.

"Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Larry Stephens (10/6/87)

Weaver talks about Hiro Matsuda as Luger squashes Stephens.

Bugsy McGraw & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Cougar Jay & Gladiator #2 (10/6/87)

Total squash as expected.

Dusty joins Tony next talking about Starrcade saying that he can't afford to take a month off like Ronnie Garvin and he is getting ready to take care of Luger at Starrcade. Dusty also talks about Hiro Matsuda coming in and he will have to face him too.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Thunderfoot (10/6/87)

Garvin is just a beast here winning with the Garvin Stomp then he talks to Caudle after the match about how he will leave Starrcade still the champion.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Brodie Chase & Thunderfoot #2 (10/6/87)

Total mauling and they join Caudle after the match talking about the new NWA Tag Champs with Hawk saying that they are champs for now but they won't be after Starrcade.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. David Isley & John Savage (10/6/87)

Eaton uses his hammerlock finisher again for the submission and this match marked the return of Big Bubba Rogers in their corner. Cornette then talks to Caudle after the match ripping on the RnR saying they would've lost the titles anyway.

World Wide Wrestling 10/17/87

Paul Jones starts the show with his new charge Mighty Wilbur who Jones talks about how vicious he is and all Wilbur does is smile and wave. Jones gets pissed that Wilbur starts talking and rushes him off.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Colt Steele (10/6/87)

Mr. Torture toys with Steele before finishing him off with the Garvin Stomp.

RnR are with Caudle next again talking about getting their revenge on the MX for injuring Morton.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Mighty Wilbur vs. Rocky King & George South (10/6/87)

Wilbur shakes hands with the fans as he comes to the ring which pisses off Jones. Wilbur not wanting to work with Ivan is great then wanting to work clean was fun. Ivan hits the Russian Sickle on Rocky to win but Wilbur wants to help Rocky back up pissing off Jones.

Arn & Tully join Caudle next talking about how they are the champs no matter how they won it and that the Road Warriors may think they want them but they really don't.

"Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Brodie Chase (10/6/87)

Luger totally outclasses Chase before putting him out with the Torture Rack.

Dillon joins Caudle next talking about Hiro Matsuda coming in to show Johnny Weaver & Dusty Rhodes how to truly use the sleeper hold the right way.

Flair is with Caudle next talking about Garvin and Starrcade telling him that he must prove to Flair that he is the better man because he may have won one time but he won't win it twice. Flair is great here as a maniac. Extra material.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. The Thunderfeet (10/6/87)

Poor Thunderfeet....and the Roadies cut another promo on Arn & Tully after the match talking about Starrcade.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Italian Stallion & Kendall Windham (10/6/87)

The faces start out with some offense but the Flapjack on Stallion ends this quickly.

Johnny Weaver joins Caudle next for a promo talking about Hiro Matsuda coming in and Weaver said he smelled a skunk because Matsuda is an evil man.

Bugsy McGraw & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Cougar Jay & David Isley (10/6/87)

This doesn't even go 30 seconds.

Then we get the debut of Hiro Matsuda who demonstrated the "Oriental Sleeper" on Tommy Young putting him out then on Johnny Weaver before Dusty made the save. Definite extra.
