This has better VQ than the VS 188 one did.

This starts up with Al Madril denying that he is paying for kids next week and that he got an injunction saying that he won't do it. Beetlejuice shows up with Barry Owen and they show the tape from last week with Madril saying that wasn't him on the tape it was someone else. Owen then tore up the injunction which pisses off Madril who then tells Beet that if he wins then he will ride Beet like a donkey.

Beetlejuice vs. Col. DeBeers (7/1/89)

Lots of Beetlejuice schtick here such as using the ceiling to swing around and hiding a can of facepaint on the floor. DeBeers though would work over Beet's back with a vicious backbreaker but Beet would bite his way out of it. DeBeers would get tied up in the ropes but as Beet ran towards him he flung him over the top rope. DeBeers brought Beet back in with a backdrop suplex but Beet got his shoulder up and won the match.

Beetlejuice then told Don Coss that every opponent he had for the week if he beat them then they would get painted like him.

Al Madril vs. Rex King (7/1/89)

This was okay nothing special. Madril wins in cheap fashion.

Grappler then comes out for a promo and says that he feels sorry for Carl Styles so he has a tape of him calling Styles on a recorder. The tape is Grappler and his girlfriend laughing at him and this is something else. Madril then comes out and said that he got Nord the Barbarian's suspension lifted and he was coming back next week.

Texas Tornado Match: The Southern Rockers (Steve Doll & Scott Peterson) vs. Lord Jonathan Boyd & Scotty the Body (7/1/89)

Peterson's cross body block off the top rope early in the match was pretty wild as he almost overshot both heels. This was an all action match which was to be expected and sure enough we get a ref bump with Top Gun coming out and he hit Doll with a piledriver making a full heel turn. Gun rolled Sandy Barr into the ring and the heels won the match. Scotty demands Ginger come with him and she walks out then Doll doesn't even get the dress put on him.....wow they killed all the stips here.

Al Madril's Fiesta Garden was next and he brings out Jonathan Boyd, Scotty the Body, & Top Gun who was paid off by Scotty the Body with $5,000 and he said that he was for hire. The Southern Rockers come out next and they are upset at Top Gun for what happened. Gun was upset at how the other babyfaces were getting pushed higher than him then challenged the Rockers to face him & Scotty the next week.

Midnight Soldier vs. C.W. Bergstrom (7/1/89)

This wasn't a good match.

Beetlejuice then cuts a promo about his match with Madril next week before Billy Jack Haynes shows up and he was very upset at Grappler for his Styles audio from earlier.

Don Coss then introduces Joey Jackson who is in a neckbrace from Billy's Full-Nelson from last week and they show clips of how it happened from last week.

Lumberjack Stretcher Match: Billy Jack Haynes vs. The Grappler (7/1/89)

The loser had to be stretchered out of the building for the match to be over. Both men took it to each other with nothing fancy just a lot of strikes. Billy is the first one to get loaded on a stretcher and they run with him but he fell off on the floor and busted his head open so we got some rare blood. Grappler then worked over the cut on his head as well as giving him a neckbreaker on the floor then the heels loaded him up again running him to the back but they still couldn't get him in the ambulance. Billy makes his way back to the ring where he makes a big comeback where he posts Grappler a couple of times and they load him up on a stretcher with the babyfaces walking him to the back but Grappler makes it back to the ring. BJH then piledrives Grappler on the floor but we don't know what happens because Don Coss has to shill next week's show and then it goes to black.....DAMN....

Don Coss starts the next show interviewing people in Beetlejuice facepaint before Nord the Barbarian comes out for a crazy promo.

Nord the Barbarian vs. C.W. Bergstrom (7/8/89)

Nord kills this guy.

Next we get a promo from Bull Ramos which was something else as he was talking about all the top names of the area.

Northwest Tag Titles: The Southern Rockers (Scott Peterson & Steve Doll) © vs. Scotty the Body & Top Gun (7/8/89)

Scotty dancing to "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul was hilarious. This is a brawl at the bell as the Rockers came in fighting with Don Owen standing his ground wanting to introduce everyone until finally leaving before he got hit. The Rockers dominate Top Gun early in the match until he dropped him with a backdrop suplex before tagging in Scotty who doesn't last long though because he doesn't want to be in the ring when the Rockers were on offense. Scotty and Gun worked over Peterson good with Scotty hitting his plancha to the floor on him. Peterson had some good hope spots but he would get posted on the floor with Boyd putting the snake on him which caused Peterson to pass out and allowed Scotty to pin him. Creative finish and we get new champs with the match being fine but nothing special.

Al Madril then brings out the new champs in the Fiesta Garden next and Gun hopes he will get more money now. Boyd then runs out with his snake to celebrate and scares Madril away.

Al Madril vs. Beetlejuice (7/8/89)

Free kids night so Beet has an army of kids around him as he comes to the ring. Madril must get painted up of course if he loses as well. Beet was using all kinds of funky armdrags taking Madril down to the mat and his use of the ceiling makes his matches so different. Madril uses his Bic lighter to get over on Beet and then rolled up Beet using the pants to win. Madril then demanded to ride Beet like a donkey which he does until Rex King shows up and tells Sandy Barr that Madril pulled his pants. Sandy Barr then demanded the match restart with Rex King as the referee and Beet used a sleeper on Madril putting him out and he gets painted up like Beet then makes him do the dance. Definite extra.

Beet then cuts a celebration promo before Steve Doll comes out and says that the Rockers will be back with Scott coming out apologizing but Doll said there is no need for it. Doll then said they will get the belts back.

Rex King vs. The Grappler (7/8/89)

Grappler just beats the hell out of King until Don Owen comes out and tells Sandy Barr that Grappler must pin King or stop the match. Grappler doesn't stop and Don Owen ordered him out of the ring which doesn't happen and then Billy Jack Haynes shows up with Grappler throwing King over the top rope and then we get a brawl with Haynes & Grappler with Don Owen demanding both men leave the ring but Nord would show up and he attacked Billy but got posted for his trouble and juiced. Billy would get beaten down though by both heels and Grappler went for his green mist and sprayed him in his face. CARL STYLES then was lead to the ring and he grabbed Grappler then started punching him in the face. Nord then attacked Styles and went for his eyes before this turns into an even wilder brawl with the other babyfaces running out. Styles then cuts a wild promo afterwards and he wants a fight with Grappler with Don Owen coming out followed up by BJH and they will have a tag match next week but it's not on TV. This was total insanity and a slam dunk extra.

Midnight Soldier vs. Col. DeBeers (7/8/89)

A bloody Nord & Grappler came up to Don Coss demanding the match with BJH & Styles happen right now and then they came in the ring where they beat up both men. Joey Jackson then ran out and they beat him up too until BJH & Styles ran in for a wild brawl with the locker room clearing out. Wild stuff.

The next show starts up with Boyd, Scotty, & Top Gun talking about putting their tag titles on the line against any guys they pull out of the hat. This week they pull out Joey Jackson & Rex King and those were the only names in the hat of course.

Beetlejuice vs. C.W. Bergstorm (7/15/89)

I feel like I've seen these guys each other wrestle 100 times. This is about the same match as the rest of their other ones although this match has two botched monkey flips which was hilarious.

Next we get the Fiesta Garden with Al Madril with Scotty the Body who wants to show his new dance then has Madril dance with him some but Madril brings up a woman who turned them down which was hilarious.

Then we get clips of Scotty & Gun winning the tag titles from the week before.

Northwest Tag Titles: Scotty the Body & Top Gun © vs. Joey Jackson & Rex King (7/15/89)

The heels coming out to "That's the Way I Like It" by Hi-Five is tremendous. Jonathan Boyd makes Don Owen leave and he does the introduction for the heels which was fun. The theme again here is that Scotty only wants in the ring when the heels are on offense which in this match was quite a bit. King works the bulk of the match taking a lot of punishment before making the hot tag to Jackson who is fired up before eating a piledriver by Gun who then tags in Scotty who lays on top to get the win.

Dutch Savage comes out next with some of the Portland Thunderbirds semi-pro football team and the coach wants to sign Roddy Piper to play running back while wearing his kilt.

Scott Peterson vs. Lord Jonathan Boyd (7/15/89)

Boyd using Iceman Parsons line of "Mama says it bees that way sometimes" before the match was awesome. Scotty comes out trying to get Ginger which brings Peterson to the floor allowing Boyd to come out and post him. Scotty then comes back with Top Gun and he trips up Peterson who attacks him. It ends up being 3-on-1 with Boyd breaking out the snake which brings out Steve Doll but it's still 3-on-2 until Beetlejuice shows up and he grabs the snake scaring the heels out of there. Beet then tells the Rockers that if they have a 6-man next week and they win he wants the snake.

Don Owen announced next that Tom Peterson demanded this match be shown on TV because he is putting out the money for it.

Billy Jack Haynes & Carl Styles vs. The Grappler & Nord the Barbarian (7/15/89)

Styles is still blinded and has to be helped around by Haynes but he works the early part of the match on offense landing blows on Grappler while still selling his blindness. AL TOMKO then shows up while this is going on with Don Coss and talks about how he is scouting for talent right now for some Canadian shows. For a match to have had so many hot angles to set it up they worked this almost like a normal tag match but it would finally break down with Nord taking a hard bump over the top rope on a dropkick by Haynes. Styles just beat the crap out of Grappler who ran away leaving Nord in the ring with Haynes picking up Styles and threw him on Nord but he missed. Styles got the Full-Nelson on Nord then Haynes helped him with Grappler coming back out which led to Styles getting the mist and he sprayed Grappler in the face which was a good payoff. Styles then demanded Barry Owen make a match between him and Grappler for next week which he said he would have to think about and later on Grappler came out crying with everyone in the Crow's Nest and Styles trying to kill him. Owen then makes the match which upsets Grappler even more. Grappler then said he wanted Haynes in a penalty box and the others wanted Nord in one which Owen agreed to. Nord shows up and his Bruiser Brody tribute act was in full force here saying that he would chew through the cage.

Steve Doll vs. Al Madril (7/15/89)

This match took a backdrop to the Grappler/Styles angle and the show ended with the match in progress.

The next show starts with Beetlejuice saying that the woman that needed a liver transplant is on her way to getting it and that Roddy Piper is going to let the kids in free in a couple of weeks in appreciation. Beetlejuice left his mouse with Don Coss but Boyd would come out with his snake and said that he was going to feed it to his snake.

Rex King vs. Al Madril (7/22/89)

Here is another match I feel like I've seen 100 times but King would cradle Madril quickly and won in less than a minute.

Joey Jackson would join Don Coss next complaining about being a stepping stone to everyone which brings out Top Gun who challenges him to a match. Gun then said make it a Loser Leaves Town match.

Loser Leaves Town Match: Top Gun vs. Joey Jackson (7/22/89)

Boyd came out early in the match and said that the snake ate Beetlejuice's mouse with Beet coming out freaking out saying that he wants to kill Boyd. Both men would trade offense before they went to the floor where they traded shots there until it went back to the ring where Gun worked over Jackson. Gun would drop Jackson with a Hot Shot then a piledriver and Jackson was gone after a 3 year run in PNW.

Next we get the Fiesta Garden with Al Madril where he brings up a kid and he starts wiping the Beetlejuice paint off his face with a towel then takes off the Beetlejuice gear when MAT MAN showed up. Yes, Mat Man is someone doing a 1989 Batman gimmick and he leaves with the kid. This is a slam dunk extra.

Mat Man vs. Moondog Moretti (7/22/89)

This is total insanity and they played Batdance during the match. Jonathan Boyd then came down followed by Beetlejuice who was in Mat Man's corner. Mat Man was HORRIBLE in the ring and Don Coss would play Batdance during the match at random times. This was so god damn terrible it must must must be on the set.

Next we get Billy Jack Haynes & Nord the Barbarian with the Owen family with Nord cutting a terrible promo then slapping Haynes.

Beetlejuice & The Southern Rockers (Steve Doll & Scott Peterson) vs. Lord Jonathan Boyd, Scotty the Body, & Top Gun (7/22/89)

Funny watching the Rockers dance with Beetlejuice and then Scotty came out with two black chicks that danced with him which was fantastic. Don Owen looked confused as hell. We get more of the Scotty tagging in when it is beneficial deal yet again here and you would think this is building to something. The match was pretty decent with everyone doing all of their usual stuff before it broke down into a wild brawl where Scotty accidentally hit Top Gun with a splash off the top rope and Doll laid on both of them to win the match. Top Gun then attacked Scotty and Boyd joined in for 2-on-1 until Doll ran in to help Top Gun. Doll & Gun then stared at each other then they walked up to the Crow's Nest where they talked to Don Coss with Top Gun saying that he got too greedy but now he is back to his old self and he wants Doll to team with him to face Boyd & Scotty in a steel cage match. Barry Owen then makes the match for next week.

Carl Styles vs. The Grappler (7/22/89)

Haynes & Nord are in penalty boxes at ringside. Nord gave Grappler some brass knux early but Styles attacked him before he could use them. Styles was firing away on Grappler when Boyd & Scotty showed up to cut a promo with a cage and Boyd crushing produce on it. God I hated when Portland did this shit during matches..Beetlejuice & Scott Peterson then showed up and said that they would be standing guard of the cage. We go back to the ring with Grappler now having a Coal Miners Glove but Styles knocked that out of his hand. The battle would go to the floor where Billy's cage got knocked down with him in it and he somehow got some wire cutters to get out. Billy then taunted Nord and cut his cage open so they could start brawling all over ringside right into the fans. The building was going wild when the babyfaces came out trying to stop this brawling. TV time runs out as all of this is going on.

The next show starts up with Joey Jackson saying that since he lost last week and he was packing his bags with Don Coss then leaving. Billy Francis then came out after a long absence saying that he was going to be part of the Roddy Piper golf tournament in August.

Next we get a promo from Mat Man.......which was obviously Scotty the Body under the gimmick due to his voice.

Beetlejuice vs. The Grappler (7/29/89)

Decent back and forth match with some fun bumping from both men. Grappler threw himself over the top rope to the floor and tried to get Sandy Barr to DQ his son so Beetlejuice did the same thing and Barr awarded the match to Grappler. Cute finish but lots and lots of screwjobs in this territory at this time.

Then we get Don Coss interviewing people about the Roddy Piper golf tournament for Make-A-Wish. The local radio DJ then challenged Grappler to a putting contest for the kids where the loser would get in a dunk tank. Grappler comes out pissed and rips on the DJ before accepting the challenge. Grappler then brings out his caddy which was a Mexican dwarf....hilarious.

Scott Peterson vs. Rex King (7/29/89)

Hey it's a battle of the Steve Doll tag partners. Scotty then showed up with his backup dancers "The Soul Patrol" and they danced at the Crow's Nest during the match. Peterson would attack King from behind when King was watching Scotty and pinned him with a powerslam.

Next we get the Fiesta Garden with Al Madril and he brought out the returning "Crippler" Rip Oliver. Madril then brings up a kid painted like Beetlejuice where he wiped the paint off his face and Oliver was getting annoyed. Beetlejuice then came out and he threw something hot at Madril but it hit Oliver and Oliver went to destroy Beetlejuice with a chair before the child sat on top of him to stop Oliver....wow what an angle. Extra material.

Then we get clips of the Haynes/Nord stuff from last week.

Billy Jack Haynes vs. C.W. Bergstrom (7/29/89)

Well Grappler comes out before the match and grabs the mic from Don Owen saying that Nord the Barbarian was there and BJH was scared to death of him so he didn't show up. Grappler then brought a board with Billy's picture on it with Bergstrom saying that he was taller than he thought he was. Bergstrom then wrestles the board and beats it. This was quite the burial.

Beetlejuice then showed up with Don Coss saying that he didn't mean to hit Oliver only Madril and he felt bad. Don Coss then convinces Beetlejuice work against Oliver next week with a child in Beet makeup saying don't fight him he may hurt you....

Texas Tornado Steel Cage Match: Steve Doll & Top Gun vs. Lord Jonathan Boyd & Scotty the Body (7/29/89)

Gun had his old music back and he was bandaged up so he was hyped up. Boyd is bandaged up but Scotty said that his finger hurts and he can't be in the cage but Boyd said that he must be in the match. The babyfaces would come out and they pushed Scotty in the cage with the babyfaces keeping the cage clear from the heels. This was all about the friends of the heels trying their best to get in the cage but failing while the action in the ring was back and forth with both teams taking turn beating on each other. Gun would get a backdrop suplex on Scotty to win the match. Scotty would then jump Sandy Barr and took his belt off where he strapped Gun many times before Beetlejuice finally got in the cage to help. The match at times served more as a backdrop to the battle on the floor and this while being a fine match isn't a nomination.

Gun then cuts a promo with Don Owen and demanded a match with Scotty the Body where the loser gets 10 lashes which Don agreed to the matches around the horn then wants a Coal Miners Glove Loser Leaves Town match next week. Gun then said that Scott Peterson would be handcuffed to Jonathan Boyd as well.

Carl Styles vs. Al Madril (7/29/89)

Before the match, Madril tells Don Owen that if kids are free next week he won't be on the show. Rip Oliver then shows up and then he threw hot coffee in Beetlejuice's face which set him off fierce. Scotty then ran out throwing a temper tantrum about his upcoming matches for the week. Boyd then came out and he gives him a pep talk then he straps Scotty for motivation. The show would end of course as the match was still going on.
