The fans sure love to boo Murdoch and he is great here working as a heel even using a steel chair to the head of Cook. Murdoch then cuts a promo aftewards ripping on the fans & Dusty.

The New Breed join Tony next talking about Cornette and the MX and Royal calling Cornette a human waterbed was hilarious. New Breed then rip on the Sheepherders which is hilarious since Royal was a former flag carrier for them.

Johnny Ace & Luke Williams vs. Eric Long & Gary Phelps (10/29/87)

Ace is subbing for Butch here and this is a total squash. Luke gets to cut the promo after the match which was extremely rare and Ace even gets to talk as well.

Ric Flair joins Tony next talking about how confident Garvin is right now being the champion and Flair rips Garvin on how he dresses while being the champ. Flair said the days are numbered and then talks about Zbyszko coming in where he talks about Baby Doll knows all about Space Mountain.

Kevin Sullivan joins Caudle at ringside for a promo next talking Starrcade again.

Western States Heritage Title: Barry Windham © vs. Rick Steiner (11/3/87)

Good to have this match on TV and both use wrestling holds early on with Windham even using a Figure-Four at one point. Steiner would hit his big powerslam though which gave him the advantage and he followed with a big Steinerline. Problem with the match is we go through 2 commercial breaks which hurts the flow of the match. Windham makes a comeback but Teddy Long gets bumped then Steiner climbs up top but eats a Superplex then Zbyszko & Baby Doll run out to attack Windham leaving him laying. Steiner rolls on him and Teddy rolls in the ring to count but Tommy Young runs out to stop him and tells Teddy what happened so the match ends by DQ. Fun for what it was.

Ron Simmons vs. Tommy Angel (11/3/87)

Simmons makes his syndicated show debut here beating Angel with a Spinebuster in 30 seconds. Simmons then talks to Crockett at ringside about his issues with The Jive Tones and growing up poor having to fight.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. David Isley, Ricky Nelson, & Gary Phelps (11/3/87)

Luger gets the Torture Rack quickly as Arn & Tully don't even really get in the ring. Flair then joins everyone at ringside for a promo with Crockett talking about all their matches at Starrcade.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Larry Stephens (11/3/87)

Garvin kicks his ass then wins with the Garvin Stomp.

The Super Powers join Caudle next for a promo talking about Starrcade. Dusty talks about what being bad is all about and this is good stuff.

Larry Zbyszko vs. Kendall Windham (11/3/87)

Interesting matchup considering Larry has issues with Barry. Kendall has Larry flustered early on but Larry would soon take him down to the mat working him over. Kendall comes firing back with shots and Larry is reeling but he ducks down as Kendall misses a cross body block in the ropes then hits his neckbreaker to win the match. Larry wants more after the match but Barry runs him off. Zbyszko & Baby Doll join Caudle after the match talking about wanting Windham's title.

Rick Steiner vs. Rocky King (11/3/87)

Steiner just manhandles Rocky.

Kevin Sullivan joins Crockett at ringside for another promo but not about Starrcade but about the Simmons promo earlier about making it from nothing then mentions Steiner saying that he may have gone down the wrong path but he sees potential in him saying it to his face.

Michael "PS" Hayes & Sting vs. Cougar Jay & Gene Ligon (11/3/87)

Hayes wins with the Bulldog then they join Crockett after the match and Sting said that he has a new move called the Scorpion.
