Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title: Krusher Khruschev © vs. Sam Houston (1/11/86)

I really dug the legwork by Houston early on and the fans were right with him for everything but we would get a clip and came back with Krusher taking control. Krusher would send Houston to the floor and pressed him in the air before dropping him face first on the concrete which was wild. Krusher then hit a Russian Sickle off the top rope but Krusher then started selling the legwork from earlier which was great. The Roadies would run out to brawl with Ivan & Nikita at ringside then we had Krusher throwing Houston over the top rope but Animal would throw him back in on top of Krusher allowing Houston to win. America's Team would also join the fray and this was so much fun. This wasn't the greatest match in the world but I dug it as well as the other stuff at the end so I'm throwing it on the block as a low-end nomination.

I really like this dynamic. Krusher working the arm early. Sam working the leg. This is a great showcase match for Sam. Krusher is selling the leg big. This is a real meat and potatoes match. This is one of the best Krusher performances. The Road Warriors brawling with the Koloffs. Super fun finish. Low-End Nomination NWA TV 85-86 Disc1
