World Championship Wrestling 12/12/87

Luger comes out for a promo and the fans are already going nuts for him. Luger was a hot item at this time no doubt and when Luger was talking you could hear a pindrop which was rare for Techwood crowds. David Crockett would even acknowledge this during the next match. Great great promo and maybe the promo of his life. Definite extra.

Larry Zbyszko vs. Rocky King (12/3/87)

Squash and a promo afterwards.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Thunderfoot (Joel Deaton) (12/3/87)

Squash and a promo afterwards.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Italian Stallion & George South (12/3/87)

Another fun MX squash.

The New Breed are out next for a promo to close the show which was fun as they were in their 2002 attire.

NWA Pro Wrestling 12/19/87

"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & Terry Taylor vs. Denny Brown & John Savage (12/6/87)

Denny gives the heels a little fight but Savage would fall prey to a double-team Hot Shot.

Flair & Dillon join Bob Caudle next for a promo talking about the Luger situation and how the Horsemen will forever reign supreme in wrestling.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Chance McQuade & Ricky Nelson (12/6/87)

Easy win for the RnR.

Sting vs. The Gladiator (12/6/87)

Sting is stacking up the victories and talks to Caudle after the match about wanting a shot at Flair.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Gladiator #2 & Thunderfoot #2 (12/6/87)

Total destruction.

Jimmy Garvin & Michael Hayes are with Caudle next talking about being hot on the heels of Arn & Tully for their NWA World Tag Titles.

Larry Zbyszko vs. Rocky King (12/6/87)

Larry wins easily.

Tully & Dillon are out next with Caudle talking about Luger saying that he wasn't a team player and he was a fake. Tully then said they would put him out for good.

Luger then cuts a taped promo about the situation and this is good but not as good as the TBS promo.

Mighty Wilbur vs. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson (12/6/87)

Now this is quite the matchup and Arn shakes his hand before the match which was great. Arn was awesome early on trying to figure out how to work against Wilbur because JCP really didn't have anyone like Wilbur before size wise as a babyface. We went to a break and came back with Arn working over a grounded Wilbur but Wilbur would come firing back with forearms and he had Arn reeling until Dillon ran in for the DQ where he got blasted. Tully then jumped Wilbur from behind and they doubled up on him until Luger made the save with the Charlotte fans losing their god damn minds. The pop when he hit the ring was amazing. Jim Ross then interviews Luger in the ring who said that he will do the taking out not them.

"Beautiful" Bobby Eaton vs. Italian Stallion (12/6/87)

Eaton is getting a spotlight match because he is coming for Dusty's US Title. We get a promo afterwards from Cornette and his boys talking about that in particular.

Power Pro Wrestling 12/19/87

Kevin Sullivan starts the show with Jack Gregory wearing a great brown leather jacket talking about the lineup on the show.

NWA World TV Title: "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Thunderfoot #2 (Gene Ligon) (12/6/87)

Nikita hits the Sickle and gets the win then talks to Crockett about all the problems inside the Horsemen before challenging anyone to a match.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & The Warlord vs. Rocky King & Jesse McClain (12/6/87)

Easy win for heels.

Mike Rotundo vs. John Savage (12/6/87)

Sullivan is at ringside in his leather jacket and he dominates Savage as he listened to Sullivan at ringside. Rotundo & Sullivan then join Crockett at ringside for a promo where Sullivan said that Rotundo is his own man now not listening to anyone else.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. The Gladiator (12/6/87)

Doc steamrolls him.

Roadies & Ellering join Tony next for a promo talking about they are the strongest men in wrestling not Paul Jones' boys Barbarian & Warlord.

Larry Zbyszko vs. Italian Stallion (12/6/87)

Stallion puts up a good fight but eventually gets taken to Larryland.

The Horsemen & Dillon join Tony next again talking about the Luger situation and we get clips of the Wilbur match from NWA Pro.

US Tag Titles: The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) © vs. "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & Michael "PS" Hayes (12/6/87)

Fun match with a lot of heat as the fans were into the babyfaces but we get a ref bump then Big Bubba drops Hayes with the Bubba Slam then Ronnie Garvin runs in and KO's Stan Lane then brawls with Bubba which was fun.
