World Wide Wrestling 12/20/86

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Rocky King & George South (12/12/86)

MX win very easily.

Bob Caudle interviews Garvin & Windham next about the MX wanting a shot at their titles with Windham saying that they would fight them anytime and anywhere. Garvin then says that they would defend against anyone.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin & Barry Windham vs. Vernon Deaton & Mike Simani (12/12/86)

Good win for the US Tag Champs.

Caudle interviews Roadies & Ellering next who say that they will finish off the MX & Cornette for good soon then shout out the Horsemen as well as Ragin & Ravishing.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Tony Zane (12/12/86)

Valiant has his new music here and the crowd goes nuts for him as he kills Zane.

Flair is out next with Caudle dressed for action later and he is pumped up about comments made by Hawk earlier then talks about The Super Powers and he says he gets anything he wants. Extra material.

Tully & Dillon are out next for a promo with Caudle talking about what was said earlier by the Roadies & Flair. Tully then again talks about being the real US Champ.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Ragin & Ravishing (Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude (12/12/86)

This is a non-title match where the RnR start this off strongly as they have the heels flustered with their speed and agility. Both Rude & Manny were very good at bumping here for the RnR. Morton using Manny's own karate style offense on him was fun. This match was the opposite of the title change as the RnR totally dominated the champs here in this one working over both men very hard. We come back from break with the champs now getting the heat as Rude & Manny are working over Gibson's leg so we missed the key spot there. Gibson was really strong selling the legwork as the crowd was trying to will him to tag in Morton. Ricky would eventually get the hot tag and he ran wild on Bull before Gibson & Rude joined the fun then we got a Double Dropkick on Bull for a nearfall. Paul Jones jumped on the apron with a steel chair where they used it on Morton's arm with Tommy Young calling for the DQ. They just destroyed Morton's arm with the chair until Gibson dropkicked the chair in Bull's face. This wasn't as strong as the title change but still a damn good match and a fairly easy nomination.

Next we get promos from Windham & Nikita, for the 1/10 show in Philly.

Russian Chain & Texas Bullrope Match: The Super Powers (Dusty Rhodes & Nikita Koloff) vs. Arn Anderson & "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (12/12/86)

Dusty coming out to Bocephus is never not awesome and yes it is "Can't Judge A Book By It's Cover" and the crowd is apeshit. We only get a couple of minutes of this but it looks fucking awesome.

World Wide Wrestling 12/27/86

Ragin & Ravishing (Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude) vs. Eddie Roberts & Alan West (12/15/86)

The champs win in seconds.

RnR Express then cut a promo afterwards vowing to get the belts back and they say they are the only RnR here.

Flair then cuts a promo about how he has made 3 million over the last 18 months and how every man wishes that Flair would lose but it isn't happening. Extra material.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) & Big Bubba Rogers vs. Ricky Lee Jones, Rocky King, & George South (12/15/86)

Bubba breaking out a fucking Liger Bomb to beat King was amazing here.

Next we get promos from Cornette, Bubba, Jones, Bull, Arn, & Flair for the 12/28 show in Greensboro.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) vs. Nelson Royal & Mike Simani (12/15/86)

Royal gives the Andersons a fight but poor Simani is toast.

Ivan is out next with David Crockett talking about how Nikita is an American now not a Russian and that Vladimir Petrov is coming to teach him the old country way.

Barry Windham vs. Ron Rossi (12/15/86)

Windham wins quickly with a big lariat.

Garvin & Windham then cut a promo next with Crockett talking about being the US Tag Champs for a long time and they want anyone to challenge them.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Krusher Khruschev vs. Bill & Randy Mulkey (12/15/86)

Poor Mulkeymania have no chance here.

The Super Powers are out next and Nikita talks about Petrov saying that he is better than him and he talks about his first Christmas saying it was the best he could ever have.

NWA World TV Title: Tully Blanchard © vs. Gary Royal (12/15/86)

Gary puts up a decent fight but falls to the Slingshot Suplex in the end.

Then we get promos from RnR, Nikita for the 12/28 show in Greensboro.

The Andersons are out next with Crockett talking about wanting money from the Bunkhouse Stampede and all the tag titles. Arn again talks about being naked without a title.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Tony Zane (12/15/86)

Garvin wins fairly quickly with the Brainbuster.

The last episode of World Wide in 1986 ends with a Four Horsemen group promo which was very fun. Arn then talks about how worrying about tag teams is over and he wants singles gold. Then at the end, Dillon kinda blocks Ole from putting his hand with the others. I love the foreshadowing here. Extra material.
