World Wide Wrestling 10/25/86

Ronnie Garvin starts the show and says yet again that he wants Ric Flair at Starrcade.

Brad Armstrong vs. Gary Royal (10/21/86)

Brad hits a big missile dropkick on Royal to win in like 30 seconds.

David Crockett then shows a taped promo from Magnum's mother with Tony Schiavone and she said that Magnum is doing better by the day and she thanked the fans for all of their love they have given the family. This is a slam dunk extra.

Tully & Dillon are out next with Tully without the crutches and they totally dropped the leg angle after Magnum's wreck. Dillon then shows what Dusty did to Dillon in Charlotte on 10/19 and they talk about a Dusty/Tully match at Starrcade. Dillon said that if Dusty doesn't sign then the Horsemen will boycott Starrcade.

Next we get clips of Nikita following Dusty in the cage in Charlotte to face off against Dillon & Ole and the fans go fucking nuts when Nikita starts beating hell out of Ole then Dillon. This is full insanity as The Super Powers are born. Flair & Tully coming down with Nikita & Flair yelling at each other is awesome. Then we get the promo from Dusty & Nikita at Techwood where Nikita talks about why he did what he did was for Magnum. Slam dunk extra if there ever was one.

Then we get the Starrcade Control Center featuring the Road Warriors comeback training video with both not wearing their facepaint. They also announce that their match with the MX at Starrcade will be on a scaffold with them climbing the scaffold and dropping a pumpkin. This is a tremendous video and a slam dunk extra.

Jim Crockett also announces that Dusty vs. Tully would be a First Blood match.

Next we get a promo from a crushed Ivan & Krusher talking about how they can't believe that Nikita would turn on his country and siding with Dusty Rhodes so they have disowned him and he must pay for his sins. Extra material.

Garvin wins easily with the Brainbuster.

Wahoo joins David next for a promo talking about his current battles with the Paul Jones Army and that he has to get them by himself because they are jumping him in packs.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Krusher Khruschev vs. Rocky Kernodle & Keith Patterson (10/21/86)

The Russians are pissed about the Nikita situation and take out on these poor guys.

Paul Jones is out next with Manny & Rude upset about Manny being in a cage above the ring at Starrcade but Rude said that he would be there and he won't let Paul get his head shaved.

Tully Blanchard & The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) vs. John Savage, Mike Simani, & Tony Zane (10/21/86)

The Horsemen are pissed about what Dusty did to JJ so they take it out on these guys by just beating the piss out of them.

Then we get The Louisville Slugger with Jim Cornette saying that he was going to unleash Big Bubba Rogers in the ring then talked about the Skywalkers match.

The Midnight Expres ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Bill & Randy Mulkey (10/21/86)

Next we get a promo from The Kansas Jayhawks and they stand behind Dusty taking on Nikita as his partner.

This starts with Wahoo & Hector talking about their issues with Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude.

Ragin & Ravishing (Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude) vs. Bill & Randy Mulkey (10/28/86)

Mulkeymania has absolutely zero chance here.

The RnR are out next talking about wanting the Andersons in a steel cage at Starrcade to keep everyone in the ring.

Next we get the Starrcade Control Center which features the Horsemen live on Flair's living room as Crockett announces that Dusty & Tully will have a first blood match at Starrcade. Then it's announced that Flair will defend against Nikita which has him shook. Extra material.

Then we get promos from Garvin, Precious, Cornette, & Bubba who has to walk away because he was laughing for the 11/7 show in Roanoke.

Next we get another taped promo from The Super Powers talking about Starrcade.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Brodie Chase (10/28/86)

Bill Dundee is now part of the entourage since Buddy Landell has left town weeks ago. Garvin takes Chase out easy with the Brainbuster. Brad Armstrong does commentary for this also.

Then we get a promo from Paul Jones and Ragin & Ravishing talking about Wahoo and we get clips from NWA Pro where they attacked Wahoo hanging him with his strap.

The Kansas Jayhawks (Bobby Jaggers & Dutch Mantell) vs. Eddie Roberts & Alan West (10/28/86)

Very easy win for the Jayhawks.

Ric Flair is out next talking about now facing Nikita at Starrcade and he is just worried about getting paid the Wednesday afterwards. Flair namedrops Roddy Piper, Nick Bockwinkel, Rick Martel, & Barry Windham here which was awesome. Extra material.

Dundee & Garvin are on commentary for Brad's quick win then they run down to the ring and attack him.

Baron Von Raschke comes out next for a promo vowing revenge on the Paul Jones Army.

Next we get The Louisville Slugger with Cornette & Bubba talking about the Skywalkers match.

MX & Bubba lay waste to these guys. Ronnie Garvin does commentary here and talks about how disappointed he was that he wasn't wrestling Flair at Starrcade and he wants a match on the show mentioning Bubba by name.

Then we get promos from Brad, RnR, & Valiant for the 11/7 show in Roanoke.

Tully Blanchard vs. Rocky Kernodle (10/28/86)

Rocky has a sound strategy to start the match working over Tully's bad right leg but a rake to the eyes by Dillon is the equalizer as Tully would get the Slingshot Suplx soon thereafter to win.

The Andersons join David Crockett next when Jim Crockett comes out with a contract for Starrcade against the RnR Express in a steel cage. They are hot about the gimmick but they want to destroy the RnR. Ole is especially great here. Extra material.
