World Wide Wrestling 2/15/86

Ivan & Nikita start the show with a promo talking about how Magnum makes them sick because he isn't the rightful US Champion. Ivan then said that the Kremlin demands that Nikita no longer wrestle on TV until Magnum agrees to wrestle him on TV.

Magnum TA vs. Gene Ligon (2/11/86)

Magnum wins in about 5 seconds.

Next we get clips of the MX winning the NWA World Tag Titles at The Omni on 2/2 before the MX & Cornette join David gloating about their victory saying that the RnR is dead and buried.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Ron Rossi (2/11/86)

Rossi doesn't even get the chance to take his shirt off as Valiant crushes him with a diving elbow smash.

Teijho Khan vs. Mike Simani (2/11/86)

Khan makes his debut here and he also wins in seconds with a powerslam.

Then we get promos from Paul Jones, Barbarian, Cornette, & Koloffs for the 2/22 show in Roanoke.

Cornette & MX are out next for another promo where we get clips from MACW where Sandy Scott announced that Cornette got fined $5,000 for using the racquet in the title change. Jim Crockett then comes out and he tells Cornette that he is trying to get the racquet barred soon.

Cowboy Ron Bass & "Pride of the USA" Don Kernodle vs. George South & Tony Zane (2/11/86)

Another spotlight match for Bass & Kernodle as a team which was short lived but a good team.

Tully & JJ are out next with David talking about Tully wanting the National Heavyweight Title with both saying that he would become champion within 4 weeks.

America's Team & Baby Doll are out next for a promo where Dusty laughts off the 4 week deal then tells Arn he is coming for Arn's TV Title. Magnum then talks about Nikita and said that Nikita wants to dictate everything but that isn't happening.

Ivan & Nikita Koloff vs. Jim & Mac Jeffers (2/11/86)

Magnum does commentary for basically a handicap match as Nikita destroys both men while Ivan stands on the floor. Nikita then demands Magnum come to the ring but that doesn't happen.

Paul Jones & Teijho Khan are with David next with Jones saying that he expects big things from Khan and he is another piece of the plan for him to control the wrestling world.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Italian Stallion & Pat Tanaka (2/11/86)

Fun MX squash with Tanaka taking a beating.

Next we get promos from Bass, Garvin, & Magnum for the 2/22 show in Roanoke.

NWA World TV Title: Arn Anderson © vs. Denny Brown (2/11/86)

The fans chant Dusty which gets Arn flustered and then Denny starts taking it to Arn which flusters him even more. Denny works over Arn's left arm like an Anderson would their opponent. Arn would resort to sending Brown to the floor where he landed hard on his knee then threw him against the railing knee first before sending him back to the ring where he really worked the knee over. Denny tries to fight back but Arn is a mad dog working the knee over before the crowd erupts as Dusty comes to ringside and gets in the ring saying stop the match. Arn tried to jump Dusty but Dusty got a figure-four on him which brought out Tully where the brawl went on the floor with them doubling up on Dusty until Magnum made the save. Fun segment and the angle is extra material.

World Wide Wrestling 2/25/86

Tony & David start the show talking about a new tag team debuting that day called The Risky Business Boys who will face Arn & Flair later.

Paul Jones & Baron come out next talking about Ron Bass and his issues with Barbarian then Jones brings up Valiant talking about him and their feud is being reborn.

Magnum TA vs. Mike Simani (2/17/86)

Another Magnum win in seconds.

Dusty & Baby Doll are out next for a promo talking about the debuting Jimmy Garvin and how the TV Title belongs to him not Arn Anderson. Baby Doll then said that Jim Cornette is a lot of woman just like her and that's the beginning of that feud. Extra material.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. Denny Brown (2/17/86)

Nikita of course isn't wrestling on TV so Ivan is going it alone and Denny gives Ivan a fight until Ivan just drops him with his version of the Hot Shot which looked nasty.

Then we get promos from Cornette, Koloffs, & Flair for the 3/9 show in Roanoke.

The Koloffs join David next for a promo asking where the Roadies were and if they were hiding from them with Nikita saying that Magnum is hiding behind everyone scared to face him.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Tony Zane (2/17/86)

The fans are crazy for Valiant and he wastes no time in beating Zane.

Tully & JJ join David next talking about Dusty and they talk about how there is 3 weeks left now for Dusty to be the National Champion.

Ric Flair then joins David next for a promo talking about how he is the best in the world showing off Big Goldy for the first time on World Wide and yes the name was spelled "RICK" which was funny. Flair then rips on Dusty & Baby Doll saying that Baby Doll is so big she could wear Haystacks Calhoun's clothes which was hilarious. Extra material.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin comes out with Precious and they are in the ring with Tony Schiavone with the fans not knowing yet how to react and this is a rare in-ring promo as Garvin cements himself as a heel and the fans start hating him immediately. Garvin getting major heel heat for telling the fans not to smoke cigarettes was awesome. Garvin then talks about Magnum being a former male dancer in San Francisco and how he is scared of facing him. Tully & JJ then come out and there are hugs and kisses abound. Extra material.

Tully Blanchard vs. Rocky Kernodle (2/17/86)

Tully hits the Slingshot Suplex in seconds and wow I never saw Rocky/Keith Larsen get jobbed that quick before.

The RnR are out next with Betty Lou the cage that Dusty has lent to them to put Jim Cornette in with them saying they are here to stay.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Italian Stallion & Rocky King (2/17/86)

Every other squash so far has ended in seconds...not this one as the MX just punish poor Rocky as a callback to months ago and Condrey just nukes him with a brainbuster.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Gene Ligon & George South (2/17/86)

Ligon quickly eats a Double Dropkick and this ends in seconds.

Next we get promos from Magnum, Baby Doll, & RnR for the 3/9 show in Roanoke.

Magnum talks with David next about Nikita being the only thing on his mind right now and he will eliminate him.

The Risky Business Boys (Dusty Rhodes & Ronnie Garvin vs. Arn Anderson & "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (2/17/86)

This was a fucking awesome spectacle here as the Fayetteville, North Carolina crowd was going apeshit for everything especially Dusty & Ronnie coming out to the LIVE version of Old Time Rock & Roll by Bob Seger. The babyfaces just tee off on the Horsemen and Garvin would KO Flair with Dusty pinning him to win the match as the crowd went complete apeshit. Too short to be a nomination but god damn this needs to be an extra.
