March 17, 20169 yr comment_5733908 Dark Angel is probably better than any the other women mentioned in this thread, but I didn't nominate her because I never dug deep into her work in Mexico. During her run in Shimmer she was clearly the best worker there at that time.
March 17, 20169 yr comment_5733909 Dark Angel is Sarah Stock is Sarita right? I enjoyed her in TNA from memory, don't think I've seen anything else of hers.
March 17, 20169 yr comment_5733911 Dark Angel is Sarah Stock is Sarita right?Yep. I called one or two matches with her, way back in the day (including laying English-language commentary over the Mexican house show fancam where Dark Angel was apparently unmasked for the first time, oddly enough, and I have no idea how the copyright situation on that footage worked) and I have vague but generally positive memories of her being pretty good. I'm surprised Miz wasn't on the list; he's had his fun stooging heel tag teams and the Lawler feud and other stuff that people here liked. Is he the only Wrestlemania main eventer (barring celebrities) who didn't make the cut? EDIT: nope, checking the list, I see at least a couple other main-Mania omissions: King Kong Bundy and SID~! and I'm honestly rather surprised that nobody even ironically nominated Sid.
March 17, 20169 yr comment_5733981 La Sombra is someone who I think was really quite good by 2010 or so and also had a good last couple of years, in two wildly different roles. If he thrives in NXT, he's someone that I could see having a case even in just a few years. That's a big if though.

If you're one for evaluating on a completist basis, there's still eight years before 2010 where Sombra isn't at that level to be voted for. I do agree that he would be on track for strong(er) consideration if he stuck in CMLL - as, like you say, WWE is a big if for him. Out of interest, did Hechicero rank for you?
March 17, 20169 yr comment_5734026 Hechicero has performances I love. Hechicero has performances I don't like. I much prefer him as a rudo. A lot of the pre-CMLL indy matches we have of him are as a local hero tecnico. That's just an awkward fit for me.
March 21, 20169 yr comment_5734649 Harry Smith, Sara Del Ray, Shelton Benjamin and Madusa Micelli. They were all people I just assumed would be nominated. That's a bummer but I've only got myself to blame.
March 21, 20169 yr comment_5734652 TJP is now jumping off the page to me. I really should've revisited his early PWG work and his NJPW run. He'd be a 90-100 guy, but I hate the idea of him not being nominated because he's been so great in a number of different companies. Super glad he's tearing it up with Gabe right now.
March 21, 20169 yr comment_5734663 Lance Storm. Oh my god, I hate myself. I'm submitting my ballot and I've only just realised. That's number seventeen gone, and Billy Robinson makes his way onto my ballot, at the coveted number one hundred spot.
March 21, 20169 yr comment_5734667 You had Lance Storm at 17 and Billy Robinson at 101? Not exactly. I had Storm at 17, but Billy Robinson was just floating in the ether as an "off the list" guy. Bare in mind, I can count on one hand the number of Robinson's matches I've seen.
March 21, 20169 yr comment_5734700 (Just kidding of course: feel it needs saying these days)Once (if?) the lists go public, there'll be a few more for you. For example, I have Jeff Jarrett three places above Bruno Sammartino. Edit: Oh, and Terry Taylor over forty places above both of them.
March 21, 20169 yr comment_5734702 I didn't rank any of those three at all! Forgive my ignorance, I've only listened to the first half of your list. Not that I'm insinuating you had Jeff Jarrett in your top fifty.
March 22, 20169 yr comment_5734773 I watched a bunch of Johnny Smith matches earlier and thought he was pretty good so I came here to see what people were saying in his thread and realized he wasn't nominated.
March 24, 20169 yr Author comment_5735354 If I had it to do again I would have nominated Drew Delight. He's an East Tn/Western NC/North Ga/North Bama guy that would be largely unknown outside that corridor, but I think he's the best all around talent that ever came out of there and I could have seen myself putting him in bottom three if I had gone back and watched enough stuff before the deadline. That said I can't really call him a major oversight because only my brothers and I would have really considered him.
March 26, 20169 yr comment_5735529 Drew Galloway. I think I would have nominated him and thrown him on the very end of my list if I had known I was gonna change my mind and do a ballot.
March 26, 20169 yr comment_5735638 As I was finishing up my ballot last night....I noticed Junkyard Dog wasn't nominated.............I was shocked
March 26, 20169 yr Author comment_5735639 That's my fault. In the last week I thought about it and intended to and forgot.
March 26, 20169 yr comment_5735642 Trying to put my ballot together and I just now noticed that Pedro Morales wasn't nominated.
March 28, 20169 yr comment_5735856 When I was turning in my ballot I noticed HARASHIMA from DDT wasn't nominated. Shame because he gonna make the list.
March 28, 20169 yr comment_5735876 I was actually coming to this thread to say the same thing. I don't even like HARASHIMA but he should've been nominated.
