World Wide Wrestling 2/18/89

Steamer starts the show with Tony talking about how important it is for him to win the NWA Title from Ric Flair.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Pretty Boy Boyd & Robbie Wise (1/31/89)

MX was handling these guys easily until the Original Midnight Express showed up to taunt them from ringside which saw Cornette get in the ring and demand that Paul E. fight him but that didn't happen and they walked off so the MX could finish their match.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat vs. Trent Knight (1/31/89)

Flair does commentary here as Knight jumps Steamer at the bell but Steamer would fight back and made him pay for that one.

The Varsity Club (Mike Rotundo, "Gamesmaster" Kevin Sullivan, & "Dr. Death" Steve Williams) vs. Rick Diamond, Billy Holliday, & Kip Montana (1/31/89)

Kip Montana aka the future Billy Gunn and his friends get destroyed by the VC here.

Roadies are out next for a promo talking about the Varsity Club and they say they will make them pay in Chicago.

"Total Package" Lex Luger & Sting vs. The Cruel Connection (1/31/89)

Fun seeing Luger & Sting tag up together on TV and they look good against the masked jobbers.

NWA World TV Title: "Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner © vs. Mike Thor (1/31/89)

Another squash for Steiner who was hilarious here mocking Thor.

"Hacksaw" Butch Reed & Barry Windham vs. Bob Emory & Eddie Sweat (1/31/89)

Bob Caudle calling Eddie Sweat "David Heath" was hilarious and the Yamazaki Corporation look strong as a team.

NWA Pro Wrestling 2/25/89

The Fantastics start the show with a promo talking about wrestling later in the show.

Michael "PS" Hayes vs. Robbie Wise (1/30/89)

Very easy win for Hayes.

"Gamesmaster" Kevin Sullivan & "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Bob Emory & Bill Holliday (1/30/89)

Total squash.

Steiner then cuts a taped promo about losing his TV Title to Rotundo in Chicago and he wants a fair match.

The Russian Assassins (Angel of Death & Jack Victory) vs. Bob Cook & Mike Thor (1/30/89)

Assassins & Paul Jones on TV this late is interesting and they make easy work of their opponents.

Then we get a taped promo from Rotundo with the TV Title saying that he told everyone he would get his belt back and he did.

Junkyard Dog & "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. David Heath & Pretty Boy Lloyd (1/30/89)

This has to be one of Ivan's last TV matches as well.

Steven Casey vs. Mike Jackson (1/30/89)

The future Steven Dane was pushed as a Young Lion by David Crockett here and Jackson is a good opponent for him to look good against.

Michael Hayes joins Bob Caudle next talking about wanting some titles and starts quoting lyrics from popular songs of the day.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. The Terminators (1/30/89)

The masked jobbers lose another one here as the Fants look good in victory.
