April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738216 I'm sure I'm not going to be the only person who's now been looking at the Nominees list to see who isn't included here, thinking "What, THAT guy got a vote??". Such a huge list of names that have charted, can't wait to see the results roll out
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738218 The joy Parv must be feeling in his heart at the inclusion of Chief Jay on the above list makes me feel like all of the time spent on this project by everyone involved has been totally worth it.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738220 Pretty happy somebody voted for Natsuki Taiyo. Also Bob Sapp got at least one vote which is incredible to me.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738221 Was wondering if there would be any on this list that would actively surprise me: There is not.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738222 Doug Somers was one of my last cuts. Anyone involved in one or more matches that great stuck around until I absolutely couldn't make room for them. This list should be much longer. Bananas.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738229 I turned in a ballot solely to keep Bob Armstrong off that list. He made mine too!
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738231 My #100 is a pretty odd choice but boiled down to me thinking "you know I'd really like to see this guy work against a ton of people on my ballot" at the last minute so I said sure, why not.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738238 I turned in a ballot solely to keep Bob Armstrong off that list. puts you above OJ for Tibor Szakacs or Johnny Sorrow for Garea =P
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738239 I seriously considered Akira Nogami, Mighty Inoue and Takashi Ishikawa at the back of my list at some point.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738241 Yoshihito Sasaki is one of my guys and I really wanted to find room for him. He ended up being one of my last cuts. Heartbroken no one voted for Arai. I wouldn't have, he wouldn't even finish in my 150, but I know there were people that showed interest in voting for him.
April 4, 20169 yr Author comment_5738244 What makes this list sadder is the about 12 guys that got votes that weren't nominated, so they just won't count.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738246 What makes this list sadder is the about 12 guys that got votes that weren't nominated, so they just won't count. Are we going to find out who those were?
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738247 I love that Gedo got a vote, but Jado did not. Gedo is a much better singles worker than Jado. The Devitt match from 2013 is one of the best junior matches of this decade and one of the better matches of the current NJPW era. I don't know who voted for him or if his 90s grimy stuff with WAR and whatnot helped his case, but a lot of people are really high on old-man Gedo and his recent run.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738249 What makes this list sadder is the about 12 guys that got votes that weren't nominated, so they just won't count. That's a shame. On the one hand, it would be nice if they counted, but on the other hand, that means that a few others that slipped through the cracks that would've gotten a vote if this last minute reprieve were enacted are SOL. JYD and Pedro Morales are two names that I would have probably put on my ballot if I had noticed they had not been nominated. No way to get those edited by the voters?

No way to get those edited by the voters? i contacted some and they changed, some no response. It's really just on like 6 ballots, with a name or two added. Just easy to delete that vote and move on.
April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738265 I now feel a little sad that I didn't squeeze a single person from the Titans mass nomination onto my list. I'm sorry Dominic!

April 4, 20169 yr comment_5738275 Had I know that he got no votes, I probably would've made Garea my #100. Oh well.
