Terry Funk opens up the show talking about Scott Hall and how he is going to piledrive him through a table.

NWA World TV Title: Sting © vs. Tony Garcia (7/18/89)

Easy win for the Stinger and then we get a clip of Gary Hart holding the TV Title that Sting just wore to the ring saying that Muta is the champion.

"Captain" Mike Rotundo vs. Steven Casey (7/18/89)

The Cap handles business fairly quickly here and Rotundo tells Lance after the match that he wants a scientific series with Dr. Death.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Wild Bill Irwin (7/18/89)

Irwin jumps Doc at the bell which was a mistake as Doc came back and put him out with the Oklahoma Stampede. Doc then told Lance after the match that he wanted the series with Rotundo too.

Norman the Lunatic vs. Alex Porteau (7/18/89)

Norman mauls young Alex.

Then we get a promo from Scott Hall talking about facing Terry Funk in his home town and he is ready to fight.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Mickey Finn & Frogman LeBlanc (7/18/89)

Total squash but before the match we get an inset promo from Teddy Long saying the Skyscrapers want Ric Flair which was something.

Terry Funk vs. Scott Hall (7/18/89)

Funk is treated like a GOD here from the ring announcer to the fans and he plays up to it like crazy. The match itself was very fun as Hall gets a good bit of offense in on Terry and even gets a close nearfall on him but Terry would get a piledriver on him to win.

Rick Steiner cuts a promo on Iron Sheik before the match because he is wrestling him later.

Terry Funk cuts a promo next about Flair talking about spitting on dirt and how can he be proud of how he acted at the Bash. Extra material.

Terry Funk vs. Alex Porteau (7/16/89)

Funk destroys Porteau with the piledriver to win.

Norman the Lunatic vs. Steven Casey (7/16/89)

Casey gets some shots in on Norman but gets squashed in the end and before the match we get an inset promo from Sting talking about wanting his TV Title back.

Then we get the Gary Hart promo from NWA Pro.

SST just manhandle these guys.

Next we get Joe Pedicino Knows.

Then we get a promo from Luger about Steamboat saying that he wasn't done with him yet.

Flyin Brian Pillman vs. Mickey Finn (7/16/89)

Spotlight match for Pillman.

Steamer then cuts a promo on Luger next and he was as heated here as I've ever seen him. Too bad this was his last promo on TV as he quit that weekend.

The Skyscrapers ("Dangerous" Danny Spivey & Sid Vicious) vs. The Party Patrol (Davey & Johnny Rich) (7/16/89)

The Rich's get some offense in but not enough to do any damage to these monsters.

Scott Steiner is with Ross next talking about Rick being happy with his new girlfriend Robin Green and how they want the tag titles.

"Dog Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner vs. Iron Sheik (7/16/89)

Sheiky attacks Steiner before the bell but Rick would answer back with a big Steinerline. Sheiky then got down on his knees with Rick and went at it with him before being bitten. Sheiky got on offense but Steiner would break free and even tried a Camel Clutch doing Sheiky's mannerisms which was funny. Steiner would eventually get the pin on an inside cradle out of a suplex.

This starts with a promo from Lex Luger who is still talking about Steamboat even though Ricky had quit.

Scott Steiner vs. Craig Whitford (7/16/89)

Easy win for Scotty.

Next we get a promos from Wild Bill Irwin & Sting talking about the Bash PPV.

Terry Funk vs. Chico Cabello (7/16/89)

We get a great Funk promo before the match that is extra material then Funk kills Cabello.

Then we get a taped promo from Ric Flair about Funk which was great. Extra material.

The Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy "Jam" Garvin & Michael "PS" Hayes) vs. The Party Patrol (Davey & Johnny Rich) (7/16/89)

We get an inset promo from Cornette before the match talking about the MX coming for the Birds. The Fort Worth fans are into the Birds here as they get the big win.

Next we get Joe Pedicino Knows.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Collin Orsack (7/16/89)

Orsack is a large man and Doc steamrolls him.

Teddy Long cuts a taped promo next about the Skyscrapers wanting Flair.

The bell is in the corner and you can tell that Jim Ross is disgusted by the Ding Dongs gimmick on commentary. The match was okay and the Militia won using the canteen.

Next we get clips of the Freebirds/SST beating down the Roadies in the cage.

This is the TV rematch for a match that hadn't even happened yet in real-time as they had a match at the Bash PPV. Pillman looks good here and gets a big win.
