MX use quick tags early for their shine segments. Using the dbl teams to their advantage. The shine by the MX overall was pretty fun. The heat wasn't significant enough to go forward. Fun tv match though.

The Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy "Jam" Garvin & Michael "PS" Hayes) vs. Agent Steele & Lee Scott (8/22/89)

This is pretty much a handicap match as Hayes destroys both men then Garvin makes the pin on Scott.

Next we get Joe Pedicino Knows.

Terry Funk & Gary Hart join Bob Caudle next talking about choking out Ric Flair with the bag. Extra material.

Rick & Scott Steiner vs. The Bounty Hunter & Rusty Riddle (8/22/89)

Steiners manhandle these guys.

Flyin Brian Pillman & Tommy "Wildfire" Rich vs. Cuban Assassin & Ron Simmons (8/22/89)

What an odd match this is. Cuban takes a wild bump to the floor and Pillman takes an even wilder bump to the floor off a plancha so that helped make this one entertaining. This is the first tag match in a while that Sheiky didn't come out and drag Simmons out of the match I guess because he was teaming with the Cuban. Simmons hit an awesome Sidewalk Slam on Pillman but it wasn't enough as Pillman still got the win on Assassin in a sloppy finish.

Then we get a promo from the Roadies who challenge everyone.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. The State Patrol (Buddy Lee Parker & James Earl Wright) (8/22/89)

State Patrol give the MX a fight early on but the MX outclass them in the end.

Pillman looks really good here.

Then we get Joe Pedicino Knows.

Jim Ross interviewed Robin Green next talking about tripping up Scott Steiner at the Clash and she denied it with Rick coming out confused. Extra material.
