Ronnie Garvin starts the show cutting a promo about his cage match with Cornette that night in Charlotte and he is going to make him pay for all of his crimes.

Garvin wins easily with the Brainbuster.

Tully & Dillon are out next for a promo talking about defending the TV Title and the $10,000 then we get the angle from the 5/9 episode of NWA Pro where Dusty & Magnum comes out with Dusty bringing out his bag of money of $50,000 to put up against Tully. Dusty is amazing here on this promo with Tully amazing in his retort and this is extra material.

The New Breed (Chris Champion & Sean Royal) vs. Clement Fields & Alan Martin (5/9/87)

The fans are dancing to Beastie Boys as the Breed enter the ring and sing along.....Dusty booked these guys as heels.....amazing but they were good heels in the ring and were impressive here.

US Tag Titles Tournament - Semifinals: The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) (5/9/87)

This rivalry is reborn now with Stan Lane involved. Lane being involved means we get even more crazy bumps from the MX and they pinball all over the place for the RnR. Morton did this insane tope suicida to the floor on Eaton which could've been a disaster if he hit the concrete. RnR are just on fire here before Gibson would get caught and Eaton nuked him with the Alabama Jam. Gibson does fine as FIP but not as dynamic as Morton who got the hot tag and ran wild before it turned into a 4-way brawl. Lane ate a Double Dropkick then Eaton who crashed into Teddy Long. Gibson & Eaton brawl on the floor as Scrappy McGowan counts out Lane but Teddy Long said that Lane's foot was on the rope which it was then Morton backdropped Lane over the top rope for the DQ. Way too cute of a finish but this was a strong TV match and is a fairly easy nomination.

"Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch vs. Cougar Jay (5/9/87)

Well Murdoch is back from his suspension aka New Japan tour and he destroys Jay.

Then we get clips of the Russians calling out The Super Powers from the 5/9 episode of World Wide and Dusty brawls with them by himself until Murdoch runs out to make it 3-on-1 before Garvin & Windham make the save. Murdoch cuts a promo with his comrades afterwards before the faces run over for a brawl. Extra material.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Mike Force (5/9/87)

I love how they took a break right before they locked up. Garvin steamrolls this poor guy.

New Breed come out next for a promo talking about the RnR Express and they show clips of a battle they had with Lazer-Tron & Valiant from the 5/9 episode of NWA Pro.

Bullet Bob Armstrong vs. Randy Barber (5/9/87)

Good win for the Bullet.

Cornette & MX are out next for a promo talking about facing Garvin & Windham next week for the US Tag Titles. Cornette then talked about his cage match saying that his fans love him to death and they are worried for him. Cornette's fake emotion here is great. Extra material.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Terry Jones (5/9/87)

Barry Windham vs. Ricky Sullivan (5/9/87)

Barry looks strong here and he cuts a promo afterwards about facing Tully the next day on TV for the TV Title and the money.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Chance McQuade (5/9/87)

McQuade tries but fails very quickly and then Nikita cuts a promo on Murdoch coming back trying to injure Dusty and he is coming for revenge.

Flair is out next for a promo talking about being Ric Flair and how Precious is playing hard to get. Extra material.

Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Rocky King, Howell Moore, & Larry Stevens (5/9/87)

Flair is all sorts of hyped up around ringside and he got the other Horsemen pumped as well so they took it out on these guys.

Paul Jones is out next with Ragin & Ravishing for a promo talking about the RnR Express losing earlier and how the Roadies want the belts but won't get them. Bull then says that they quit working on TV because they don't need to.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. The Shadow & Bill Tabb (5/9/87)

As this destruction is going on, Paul Jones comes out and gets in Ellering's face which leads to Ragin & Ravishing coming out to attack him before the Roadies ran them off. Hawk then cuts an angry promo vowing revenge. Extra material.

World Championship Wrestling Sunday Edition 5/10/87

This is JIP because of the Braves game as Hawk is cutting a promo on Ragin & Ravishing.

NWA World TV Title: Tully Blanchard © vs. Barry Windham (5/9/87)

The $10,000 is also on the line as well. This had some good back and forth action to start with Barry making it a slugfest forcing Tully to go to the floor to regroup. Barry is taking it to Tully but Dillon would distract Scrappy McGowan as Windham had Tully down with a lariat. Windham would then lock on a sleeper hold and they tumbled to the floor where Windham kept the hold before breaking it and went back to the ring. Windham then went back to the floor and got posted by Tully for his trouble as we went to break but we come back and Tully is getting beat on again. Dillon would give Tully his shoe and he nailed Windham with it as Scrappy wasn't looking but Barry would kick out. Blanchard would send Barry to the floor and then went for a piledriver but Barry would backdrop him on the floor. The action goes back to the ring with Windham in full control getting a couple of nearfalls. Windham has Tully reeling with under a minute left but he can't put him away. Barry would send Tully to the floor and they brawled as the bell rang for the time limit draw. This was a damn fun hard hitting battle and is a solid nomination.

RnR Express are out next for a promo talking about getting payback against the MX and coming for Ragin & Ravishing.

Luger & Dillon are out next for a promo where Luger acknowledges his fans that are cheering him which was funny. Luger then talks about how Nikita is ducking him.

Another fun New Breed squash match....damn they were good. Breed then cut a promo afterwards on Valiant.
