Sullivan promo Sting vs Stan Lane We get a little posing early on. Crowd is totally with Sting. Lane putting over Sting's strength early. This was solid, just not enough for a nom. Arn Anderson vs Lex Luger Arn after the arm early. Luger's shine was solid. Nothing too stand outish though. Arn's heat is going to have to save the match. He's back to the arm. Solid stuff, but nope.
April 12, 20178 yr comment_5796910 This starts with a promo from Doc talking about being in Wargames matches on the Bash tour."Beautiful" Bobby Eaton vs. Tommy Rogers (5/31/88)This was highly clipped up sadly but what we got looked fun.Kevin Sullivan comes out next for a promo about the Tower of Doom and coming for "Patti."Sting vs. "Sweet" Stan Lane (5/31/88)I love odd matchups like this and Lane was awesome working as a cocky heel prick here. It was funny watching Lane do the Ric Flair spots here against Sting since Lane was trained by Flair. Sting missing the Stinger Splash gave Lane the chance to go on offense using his educated feet. Lane sent Sting to the floor but when he suplexed him back in Sting fell on top of him for the win. Weird finish but I liked it and this was fun for what it was."Total Package" Lex Luger vs. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson (5/31/88)This is the 2nd time these two have faced off on Main Event in 2 months and this was a good but shorter match that like their other match ended on a DQ with Windham interfering yet again this time as Luger had Dillon in a Full-Nelson.
April 13, 20178 yr comment_5796986 Eaton vs. Rogers definitely exists in full. The stuff I had of Tony Condello's TV that included Main Event shows from that era included that match. It's really good. Was it clipping from TBS or on the recording?
