June 5, 20178 yr comment_5803052 Curtis Thompson vs. Trent Knight (11/25/88) Spotlight match for these two young prospects and the US Male gets the win. Larry Zbyszko vs. Mike Justice (11/25/88) Larry wins easily over the big man. The Varsity Club (Mike Rotundo & "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. "Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner & Ron Simmons (11/25/88) Four All-Americans here in the same ring which was cool. Steiner is wearing a t-shirt here for this which was interesting especially because it says SYRACUSE SUCKS on it. The match starts out with some matwork but it isn't really that good and Simmons is dominating the match on his side as Steiner stands on the apron. They are teasing Simmons turning heel as well as Steiner wants in the match badly and the fans want him in the match but Simmons refuses to tag initially then does it with force. Steiner comes in and immediately the heels take over just beating on Steiner until he nails Doc with the Steinerline. Simmons would come back in and the heels continue with their advantage. Steiner would get pissed and got Tommy Young distracted with Rotundo turning over a Doc inside cradle on Simmons giving VC the win. Okay for what it was.
