Robert Gibson comes out for a promo first talking about getting the NWA World Tag Titles back.

The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy, Michael "PS" Hayes, & Buddy Jack Roberts) vs. Randy Barber, Alan Martin, & Lee Peak (5/23/87)

This is Gordy's first match back at Techwood since September 1982 and Buddy's first match back here since May 1981. The Birds are back home and they are dominant in this match.

The Birds then cut a promo afterwards where Gordy talks about being blackballed by promoters and Hayes is pumped up about being back home. Extra material.

Next we get clips of Dusty meeting the Horsemen at their attorney's office to sign the deal to face Tully. Dusty shows up with Magnum and his paper sack of money which is great. This is a fun segment and extra material.

"Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Larry Stevens (5/23/87)

Luger is dominant here.

Flair is out next wearing a great Carolina Blue suit ripping on the "Fruitbirds" and other things.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez vs. Ricky Nelson (5/23/87)

Manny is by himself here as Rick Rude worked his last match in JCP the night before in Richmond and never came back.

JJ along with Tully then introduce Dark Journey as the new secretary for Tully Blanchard Enterprises which was a weird relationship. Then we get clips of Dusty getting injured on the 5/23 NWA Pro show. Extra material.

Jimmy Garvin & Precious are out next and Precious has her hair pulled back which was a rare look for her and was a good look that she should've kept.

The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) vs. Tommy Angel & Cougar Jay (5/23/87)

Brad & Tim have their newly won UWF Tag Titles with them and they are back together as a full team looking good here.

The Midnight Express are out next with Stan Lane doing the intro for Jim Cornette which I loved while Cornette cut a fun promo. Extra material.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Dexter Westcott (5/23/87)

Easy win for Jimmy.

The Roadies & Ellering are out next for a promo on the Horsemen where they vow revenge for Dusty's injury.

Luger & Dillon are out next for a promo where Luger said that the Horsemen are the dominant force in wrestling and they are here to hurt people. Luger then says that Nikita is a shadow of his former self.

NWA World TV Title: Tully Blanchard © vs. Ricky Sullivan (5/23/87)

Tully hits the Slingshot Suplex and wins in seconds then the Horsemen cut a group promo with Flair & Luger just salivating over Dark Journey then mocking the Road Warriors.
