Next we get promos from Eric Embry, Ron & Chicky Starr with clips of Abdullah the Butcher beating and stripping down Invader I which brought out Invaders on the promo set to strip down the heels. This is a definite extra.

This is JIP and a competitive match at times but the heels were too tough. Ron Starr with his vertical drop DDT on Monarca looked sick.

Then we get a promo from Mike Davis before the Starr's came back out pissed off about being stripped.

TV Title Tournament: Miguel Perez Jr. vs. Mr. Elijah Akeem

Miguel shows really good fire here and throws some nice punches but Akeem was terrible.

Next we get clips of a wild Colon/Invader vs. Abdullah/Ron Starr match with Chicky and Invader III getting involved.

Yikes this was bad.

Then we get promos from The Crusher, Krupp, and the Starr's.

Then we get clips of Ric Flair & Dory Funk Jr. vs. Abdullah the Butcher & Carlos Colon from 1984 that is a definite extra because Abby walks out on Colon.

Next we get promos from Colon, JJ Dillon, Flair, Road Warriors, & Los Pastores....all good stuff especially Butch wrapping himself in barbed wire. Extra material.

Disc starts with a match between the Invaders vs. the Assassins. Squash win for Invaders. Hugo wants the director to show the young fan dressed as an invader.

 

This Monday there is a TV taping in Rio Piedras, Tuesday they will be in Jayuya, Wednesday in Cidra, and Thursday in Rio Grande.

Hugo asks the director to not film from the waist down since this is quite the humiliation. As the Starrs laugh it up, the Invaders show up and attack them. Definite extra.

 

Chicky Starr & Ron Starr vs. El Monarca & Super Medico. This is from thew World ta title tournament that occurred 3/29/86 if I'm not mistaken. This should be complete on the tag title tournament dvd.

 

Mike Davis interview about his match tonight. apparently he and Lane went to an hour draw the previous week against Embry and Crusher. There was supposed to be an interview with the invaders but they have left the studio. As Hugo says this the Starrs show up. Chicky rants about what they are going to do them tonight after the attack they did earlier. This could also be an extra.

 

I'm starting to think this show may be from 4/12 or 4/19 of 1986.

We go to a scene from Caguas. from the prior week where Carlos Colon was handcuffed to Abdullah the Butcher as Invader 1 took on Ron Starr. Chicky wuld take out Carlos and jmp in the ring to attack Invader. Eventually Invader 3 would come in to clear the ring. Due to this, Hugo has a last minute announcement. Carlos and Abdullah are banned from the building for the maine event match that night between the Starrs and Invaders. This could also be an extra.

 

New show. I have never seen this show opening before. They are still on channel 4 at this point. Looks like sometime during the year they would switch to channel 11 (the later 1986 shows we have are from Channel 11).

 

Hugo mentions the matches for this Friday in Fajardo.

Tonight they will be in Ponce. The main event is Abdullah the Butcher vs. Invader 1. Abdullah has been going after Invader, attacking him with the fork wherever Inavder has had matches. They show clips of Abdullah attacking him at Hiram Bithorn Stadium during a match Invader had against Chicky Starr, Inavder ebing atacked during his match against Abdullah where Carlos Colon was the referee, and his appearance and attack on Invader when the Starrs stripped him. As ana side, this is also what happened prior to Invader's match against Kamala that is out on one of the other discs. Could be an extra.

• He has returned after three years to Puerto Rico.
• His name is El Monarca because he started wrestling masked as El Monarca, but lost the mask to Fishman. He was going to change his name but was told to stay with it. It's been 13 years wrestling as El Monarca.
• He studied Accounting but did not practice much since he started wrestling.
• His wife is Maria Dolores and his son is also name Jose Luis (like him).
• His worst day was that he was National champion in Mexico and he lost it. His best was when he won it.
• He describes himself as happy and a sportsman.

New show starts with an Hercules Ayala interview about his NWA World title match against Ric Flair at Aniversario 85. Anivverrsatrio 85 is tonight, so this is the Saturday Sept. 21 1985 tv show. Hercuels promises to win the title for the fans.

 

The Invaders interview about their NA tag title match tonight against the Sheepherders with the ring surrounded by barbed wire. Invader 3 says they asked for this match so the Sheepherders can't run away. He is anxious to get it on after all the Sheepherders have done to them. Invader 1 says that last week Hugo showed a tape of what happened when they were wrestling in Ponce where the sheepherders claim they "signed" the contract for the match. Apparently their idea of signing the match was attacking the Invaders and wrapping them up in barbed wire. Invader says that the Sheepherders had gloves on when they did that, but tonight there are no gloves, they will feel the barbs on their flesh. Invader says he requested that the barbs be put every six inches to ensure no one can get through them to escape. This interview could be an extra.

 

Hugo announces that not only will fans be able to enter the facilities through the main entrance on Roosevelt avenue, but the secondary entrance through Domenech avenue will also be open.

As commissioner Castillo at ringside urges Abdullah to tag back in, Abdullah decides to leave Carlos in the lurch and abandons the ring. This sets up tonight's main event. Extra material.
