Mr. Pogo & TNT vs. Ricky Fuyuki & Miguel Perez Jr. (Summer 1987)

Funny seeing Fuyuki as a babyface here and his early work with Pogo is interesting to watch as they trade offense. TNT would come in and started working nerve holds and it didn't pick up until Pogo got back in the ring. Fuyuki is taking punishment but he is fun firing up trying to make a comeback before finally getting the hot tag to Miguel who runs wild on the heels until their double teaming put him in trouble. Fuyuki would get the tag from Miguel and again showed great babyface fire before Miguel joined in for the 4-way brawl. Pogo locked on a Cobra Clutch on Fuyuki who passed out as TNT & Miguel brawled on the floor. I dug this match a lot and I'm throwing it on the block as a low-end nomination.

Early work between Pogo and Fuyuki was fun. I thought shit was about to get real when TNT came in but he got real nerve-holdy. Perez and Pogo get some action going and Pogo pulls out the chain to choke Perez. Eh... I would pass on this as a nomination. I think we are at the point where low ed stuff like this can be left on the cutting room floor.
