This is from a stadium show, so I would be shocked if this wasn't available on a disc. This was also easily the best of these three matches. Brody's over the top selling and desperate avoidance of contact with the post and/or complete unwillingness to take a bump to the floor were annoying, but Invader was great in this. He got worked over early, made Brody's offense looked good, did his great slow developing comeback after the initial blood less and then went on a tear. I fucking loved his escalating levels of violence with Brody. He even shrugged off Brody's stuff the way Bruiser usually did to others. At one point he was holding him by the hair and just punching him in the face as he was laid out on the apron. He ends up cracking him with a chair and then chasing him into the dugout while smashing him with a chair. The post-match with the crowd carrying him around is kind of crazy hindsight, but it was an awesome moment in isolation.

Bruiser Brody vs. The Invader

This is supposedly from 1985 and it's a battle from the bell as Brody gets the advantage on Invader and starts pounding him inside and outside the ring breaking out the juice naturally. Invader comes fighting back though and kicks Brody in the balls to neutralize him and he gives Brody a taste of his own medicine bashing him into the ringpost a couple of times bringing out juice from him. Invader is really teeing off on Brody now and bites the cut for good measure until Brody catches him with a kick to the face. Invader though still keeps coming and at one point grabs Brody by the hair so he can punch him in the face numerous times. Invader then clobbers Brody with a chair a couple of times outside the ring until the referee calls for a double countout. The brawl would continue all over the stadium in a wild scene with Invader being carried around by the fans before it was over. This was a wild fucking brawl with lots of shit going on and I'm going to pass it forward as a nomination.

At first, this starts out like a typical Brody match... no selling, all offense. Eventually, Invader gets the best of him and at some point, Brody starts selling, frantically trying to get away from Invader. I like the ending with Invader relentless in his attack and Brody trying to escape only to get pelted with trash as Invader continually attacks. Brody runs away and Invader is picked up by the fans and carried off as they celebrate. I enjoyed this. Good brawling. a little bit of blood. Better than expected Brody match. Thumbs up.
