Carlos Colon & Invader III vs. Hercules Ayala & Chicky Starr (October 1988)

Fun seeing Colon & Invader III teaming up and Chicky is just as fun bumping and selling for them. Chicky is getting punished quite a bit and has begun juicing before tagging in Ayala who comes in only to meet Colon so he drops to the floor and this happened a few times because Ayala wanted no part of a fresh Colon. Ayala's stalling here would make Larry Zbyszko blush. Invader III got tired of this shit and kept throwing Ayala into the ring to get punished by Colon. Chicky then decided to get in the ring and took more punishment from the babyfaces and even decked Ayala by mistake. Eventually we would get Colon & Ayala in the ring together with Ayala in control but as soon as Colon got some shots in Ayala went back to the floor. Chicky then took some more punishment since Ayala didn't want to be in the ring but Invader III would get caught in the heels corner and now it looks like we are getting an extended control section. Invader got his mask ripped and was bloodied by the heels so bad his chest was covered in red. Invader III is a fucking mess before he gets the tag to Colon who fights off both heels on his own since Invader is struggling. Invader finally joined in and the 4-way brawl was on with Colon getting the Figure-Four on Ayala but Ayala would get free and went to the floor where Colon worked over his knee even more unti; Chicky ran and got a steel chair which he used on Colon. Invader then took the chair and the heels went running away. Crappy countout finish but MY GOD the blood that was shed here....this was insane and this is a fairly easy nomination.

This was amazing. If it had a proper finish, this could be the best tag in Puerto Rico. Still, the two big faces teaming against the two big heels in an epic tag. Kris gave a good description of what to expect and this is a definite nomination.
