Cornette and the MX came out to start the show talking about Bobby clearly beating Dusty on TV and he is the rightful US Champion. Cornette talking about how the MX was hanging at The Cheetah III the night before and that popped me hard. Extra material.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson vs. John Savage (2/10/88)

Arn looks awesome here hitting all his big moves to win and along with Dillon, they cut a promo after the match talking about how they are dominating everyone.

"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert vs. David Isley (2/10/88)

Gilbert totally beats down Isley and even does a little commentary with Tony & Jim for fun.

Handicap Match: Road Warrior Hawk vs. Keith Steinborn & Ryan Wagner (2/10/88)

Hawk destroys these two guys and then along with Ellering cut a promo on the Powers of Pain afterwards.

Barry Windham is out next with Crockett talking about how he is coming back for his Western States Title and Zbyszko should be ready. He also warns Arn & Tully about how the NWA World Tag Titles are on his mind too.

The Jive Tones (Tiger Conway Jr. & Shaska Whatley) vs. Mike Jackson & Gary Royal (2/10/88)

Love me some Jive Tones and they are very impressive here to start using their headbutts. Jackson fights back a little but the Jive Tones would put him away with a double face drop then a double Russian Legsweep to win. The Tones would cut a promo with Crockett afterwards sending notice to the Lightning Express and The Super Powers.

"Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Alan Martin (2/10/88)

Martin has no chance here against the Package who after the match talks about teaming with Ole & Windham against the Horsemen and that along with Sting they are taking all the Horsemen's belts.

Flair & Dillon are out next for a retort to what Luger said and Flair gives Jim Ross props for actually acknowledging how good the Horsemen are. Flair then goes off on Luger & Sting which was great. Extra material.

Ricky Santana vs. Tommy Angel (2/10/88)

Santana gets a spotlight match and looks good then cuts a promo with Crockett after the match about going on tour.

The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) vs. Max McGyver & Curtis Thompson (2/10/88)

Another strong showing for the LX but the Sheeps jump them after the match and they use the flagpole on Horner and try to cut his hair but Armstrong runs them off with a steel chair. The LX cut a pissed off prom after the match.

NWA World TV Title: Mike Rotundo © vs. Rocky King (2/10/88)

Rocky gets some offense in early but Mike turns on the switch and then takes care of him easily with some help from Sullivan. Crockett then interviews the Varsity Club afterwards with Sullivan talking about Jimmy Garvin coming for Rotundo's TV Title and he talks about Precious too. This is the beginning of this long feud.

Sting vs. Bob Riddle (2/10/88)

Sting now has his true early theme music here and he squashes Riddle easily. Sting then asks for Flair after the match demanding he come out but he doesn't.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & The Warlord) vs. Steve Atkinson, Randy Hogan, & Gene Miller (2/10/88)

Oh man I forgot the POP theme music and how awesome it was. These jobbers were brutalized and after the match Paul Jones talks about coming for the Road Warriors.

Sheeps & Johnny Ace are out for a promo next talking about how they want to clean up the Lightning Express.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Joe Cruz & The Red Raider (2/10/88)

The Garvin's yet again look good squashing guys and they join Crockett afterwards talking about coming for the US Tag Titles and Jimmy wants Kevin Sullivan & The Varsity Club.

Shane Douglas vs. George South (2/10/88)

Douglas is back in the NWA and the women love him although he is sloppy in spots. He does win with the sleeper hold though and cuts a promo afterwards about being glad to be in the NWA.
