Another impressive squash match for Sting.

Shane Douglas & Ricky Santana vs. The Cruel Connection (2/24/88)

CRUEL CONNECTION make their debut here and they lose gloriously.

Next we get a teaser for The Fantastics which was funny.

Then we get a taped promo from Road Warrior Animal who is without facepaint using his normal voice explaining his surgery. This is a good promo and extra material.

The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) vs. The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) (2/24/88)

This is all action from the start as the LX take it to the Sheeps but it wasn't too long before the Sheeps would use their roughhouse tactics to get the best of Brad. LX comes back though and they try to keep the Sheeps on the mat with some quick tags to keep each other fresh. Sheeps would turn the tables on LX using illegal double teaming to get the best of Brad who does a really good job here of selling everything. Horner would finally get the hot tag and he ran wild on the Sheeps getting some nearfalls before Brad would join the fun and it's a 4-way brawl now. Johnny Ace gets on the apron arguing with Teddy Long as Brad got posted by Butch. Horner then gets attacked by Butch covers him but Brad runs in and tells Teddy what happened so the match continues. It's back to a 4-way brawl as Horner gets an O'Connor Roll on Luke but Johnny Ace would run in using the flagpole for the DQ. The finish was cheap but this was damn good TV match and I'll pass it forward as a low-end nomination.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Cody Starr & Curtis Thompson (2/24/88)

Cornette namedropping Steve Hirsch of Vivid Video on commentary was fantastic. This is a fun squash match.

Crockett hypes the upcoming Clash of the Champions before Cornette comes out saying that Crockett was fooling around with the same woman as Jimmy Swaggert. Cornette said that MX has gone through every team in the area and that there is no one coming in that could stop them. He also vows to win the Crockett Cup.

"Total Package" Lex Luger & Barry Windham vs. Gene Ligon & Rick Orasi (2/24/88)

Luger & Windham are getting better and better as a team every week and they join Crockett for a promo afterwards where they talk about how much they want the Horsemen.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. David Isley & Paul Lee (2/24/88)

PAUL LEE AS A JOBBER!!!!!! and he looks like such a scrub. Ronnie just beats the shit out of Paul and it makes my heart happy.

Flair & Dillon are out next for a promo talking about Sting, Luger, Windham, etc then Flair calls a woman fatso saying that Dusty will be there for her later. Flair then talked about how he was almost banned from TBS for busting himself open on the air and that no one wants to see what the consequences are of facing him. Extra material.

The Garvin's & Precious are out next with Ronnie saying that he wants to beat people up especially Flair and they talk about going for the US Tag Titles and Jimmy going for the NWA World TV Title.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & The Warlord) vs. Joe Cruz, Mike Jackson, & Alan Martin (2/24/88)

Another big squash for the Paul Jones Army and we get a promo from them afterwards where Jones compares Animal to a castrated bull.

Ron Simmons vs. Ryan Wagner (2/24/88)

Simmons steamrolls Wagner.

Dusty is out next for a promo talking about Zbyszko & Baby Doll telling them to bring on their blackmail against him because there is nothing. Dusty then rips on Flair for ripping on his fans telling him he could buy an sell him. Extra material.

The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner & Mike Rotundo) vs. Trent Knight & Gary Phelps (2/24/88)

As the VC is destroying these guys they show Miami Dolphins Punter Reggie Roby in the crowd which was random as hell. Sullivan and his boys then cut a promo with Crockett after the match about Jimmy Garvin where he said that he wanted him to be part of the Varsity Club after their extensive past together. Rotundo is silly and this was such a great group at this time.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Bear Collie & Tony Suber (2/24/88)

Suber gets a tad of offense in on Arn but other than that this is all Horsemen then we get a promo from them afterwards where they talk about Dusty, Ole, & Luger.

"Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko vs. Max McGyver (2/24/88)

Easy win for Larry and then talks to Crockett afterwards about how Jimmy Swaggert stepped down due to controversy and Dusty should do the same.
