The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Tony Bowman & Ryan Wagner (3/23/88)

Long squash.

Next we get a promo from Luger & Windham about their match with Arn & Tully.

Rob Garner who was a suit for Crockett is out next talking about the upcoming Crockett Cup before Flair comes out with 1988 Penthouse Pet of the Year Patti Mullen and it's classic Flair. Extra material.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Alan Martin (3/23/88)

Easy win for Al.

Paul Boesch & Peter Birkholtz are out next to represent Houston and they talk about state of the NWA.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Steve Atkinson & Gene Ligon (3/23/88)

Fants look great here and we get a promo afterwards.

Next we get clips of a Arn/Tully vs. Luger/Windham match from NWA Pro with Magnum getting involved which is setting up the Magnum attack angle.

Magnum is out next for a promo holding his bat which brings out Tully & Dillon with Tully cutting a great promo about how he has lived with the I Quit match for over 2 years. Windham comes out and gets decked in the face and then Magnum gets decked. Dusty comes out out and beats the hell out of Dusty with the bat then attacks Jim Crockett with it as he tries to pull him off. All the faces pull Dusty off as all the suits check on Crockett. This was an awesome angle at the time and still is awesome and as close as it got to a Memphis angle in Techwood. As slam dunk as it gets as an extra.

The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner & Mike Rotundo) vs. Tommy Angel & Italian Stallion (3/23/88)

Squash and all the commentary is about the previous angle. Stallion actually powerbombed Steiner here which was interesting. Sullivan cuts a promo afterwards about Dusty.

Ron Simmons vs. David Diamond (3/23/88)

Squash. Mark Clayton of the Miami Dolphins is shown on camera watching from ringside which was cool.

Sting vs. Max McGyver (3/23/88)

Squash and a promo afterwards with Sting saying he can't talk because he is sick about Magnum.

Dillon is out next for a promo about Dusty and how he wants him banned.

Cornette then comes out for his opinion of the Dusty angle which is great.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Bear Collie & Kendall Windham (3/23/88)

This is a great squash.

Green Machine (Bugsy McGraw) vs. El Negro (3/23/88)

So obvious this was Bugsy.

Gary Hart & Al Perez are out next for a promo about Dusty.

Shane Douglas & "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Mike Jackson & Art Pritts (3/23/88)

That's quite the babyface team.

David Crockett comes out afterwards saying that Jim is doing okay and they show the angle again to close.
