MX look fantastic here. After the match, Cornette talks about wanting to whip Bobby Fulton's mother just as much as he wants to whip him then talks about a match they had in Baltimore that went 42 minutes."Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch vs. Larry Stephens (4/13/88)Stephens gets some offense in early but Murdoch would take control and just killed Stephens with the Brainbuster. Murdoch then talks to David afterwards about the Crockett Cup and wanting the money then warned the Horsemen, Kevin Sullivan, Jim Cornette, & Gary Hart about making Dusty Rhodes mad. Murdoch said that he would put Dusty away for the right money. Extra material."Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Art Pritts (4/13/88)Luger wins in less than a minute and then cuts a promo about how he and Windham are the best team and they will win the Crockett Cup. Luger is such a quirky babyface it's infectious.Next we get the Dillon/Jim Crockett video.The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & The Warlord) vs. Steve Atkinson & Bob Riddle (4/13/88)POP beating these guys down is bad enough but Ivan whipping them with his chain made it even more of a squash. Jones and his boys cut a promo afterwards about the Crockett Cup and the Roadies.The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner & Mike Rotundo) vs. David Spearman & Dark Starr (4/13/88)Dark Starr is quite the name for a black jobber and the VC just manhandle these guys. Then we get a promo from Sullivan and the VC afterwards talking about Jimmy Garvin, Crockett Cup, & Midnight Rider."The Enforcer" Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Tony Bowen & Rick Paradise (4/13/88)Arn & Tully systematically take apart these guys then along with Dillon cut a promo after the match about winning the Crockett Cup and Flair retaining his title over Nikita. Dillon is especially upset about his match with the Midnight Rider but the heel element is coming together. Tully then talks shit to Nikita who is in the ring which was funny."Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. El Negro (4/13/88)Nikita takes out the big man very easily with the Russian Sickle then cuts a promo after the match about beating Flair at the Crockett Cup. He also poked Tully for beating him for the TV Title last year."Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Larry Davis (4/13/88)Precious looks so 1988 here in her attire and Garvin handles this guy with ease. Jimmy cuts a promo next about his match with Sullivan at the Crockett Cup talking about their rivalry going on. Garvin is really good here.The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Alan Martin & Keith Steinborn (4/13/88)Love me some Fantastics and they look great here using the Rocket Launcher as their finisher which was a great troll move. Fants then cut a promo after the match talking about getting the MX and they will get the US Tag Titles soon."Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Ryan Wagner (4/13/88)Perez with another solid victory but using the spinning toehold as a finisher is still funny.
