Sting vs. David Isley (4/20/88)

They are in Jacksonville here and the fans are red hot for Sting who cuts a promo after the match saying that he wants a 60 minute match with Flair now instead of 45.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Carey Stevens & Snake Watson (4/20/88)

These jobbers here are as bad you can get on the jobber scale. Fants cut a promo afterwards talking about taking 10 lashes across the back in matches against the MX and they say that they won't be taking them.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Bob Riddle (4/20/88)

Riddle tries to intimidate Doc before the match and that failed miserably. Doc cuts a promo after the match wanting Ric Flair and said that he is the man that can beat him.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Tommy Angel & Rocky King (4/20/88)

The women loved them some MX here especially Stan. MX are dominant and Angel eats some of the strap from Cornette. As the match goes on, Tony tells Cornette that if his boys lose to the Fants then he would get strapped as well which sets him off into a frenzy.

Flair is with David Crockett next talking about how the women of Florida love him before talking about Sting and their 60:00 matches then Dr. Death saying that if he thinks 1988 is his year then this is Flair's century.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & The Warlord) vs. Bob Emory, Max McGyver, & Curtis Thompson (4/20/88)

The heels destroy these guys.

Jimmy Garvin & Precious are out next for a promo talking about how Sullivan has terrorized his family and that he is going to get rid of him very soon.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Larry Stephens (4/20/88)

Al with another impressive TV win. Gary Hart & Perez cut a promo after the match talking about coming for the US Heavyweight Title in the tournament in Houston on 5/13.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Krusher Knault (4/20/88)

Nikita wins easily with the Russian Sickle.

NWA World Tag Titles: "Total Package" Lex Luger & Barry Windham © vs. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard (4/20/88)

The babyfaces are very strong to start working over the heels and this crowd is especially into it because Luger & Windham made their names in Florida. The Horsemen were so good at bumping and selling for the big men here and the crowd was eating it up. Luger & Windham both did good jobs as well in FIP roles especially Luger who was not adept at doing that just yet. The Horsemen was really strong on offense as well taking it to Luger making it seem like they were just working another guy not someone like him. Luger finally getting the hot tag to Windham was payoff for some solid FIP work and Windham cleaned house on the Horsemen but Tully would post Luger as Windham worked over Arn. Luger is juicing on the floor and Windham goes for the tag but Luger isn't there. Dillon yells at Windham that he told him he wouldn't be there for him as Windham tries to make a comeback but Luger isn't there for the tag. Dillon is great here selling this to Windham. Luger would get on the apron and Windham slammed him into the ring then hit him with a big flying lariat. Windham flashed the four fingers and Arn would pin Luger to win the titles. The fans can't believe what is going on as Windham walks out with Dillon. Midnight Rider and others come out to check on the bloody Luger then he goes to the heel locker room where Windham is celebrating with the Horsemen and the heels all jump the Rider until the other babyfaces run in to make the save. The match was awesome and the post-match was even more awesome. This is a slam dunk nomination.

The Varsity Club are out next for a promo and Sullivan congratulated Dillon for getting Windham to join the Horsemen. Sullivan talks about how Windham was being held down by Dusty and now he can be the star he is supposed to be. Extra material.

NWA World TV Title: "Captain" Mike Rotundo © vs. Sam Bass (4/20/88)

Easy win for Rotundo as the crowd is still shocked at what just happened.

Then we get clips of Windham in his new Horsemen jacket getting in the Horsemen limo leaving the building with the Midnight Rider's mask in his hand flashing the 4 fingers. Definite extra.
